I'm glad somebody else thinks celebrities are irritating. The thing I hate the most about them is that they get offended when people say they hate them or think they're bad at whatever they do. I remember reading a little gossip snippet about some singer who got all upset when people wrote to her saying she needed to quit because she had sold out and and it's like "Hello, you're in the public eye! Of course people will say stuff about you!"

People's obsession with celebrities doesn't say much about our society, I mean it's pretty pathetic. It's cool if you admire someone, but when you start to have tv channels and magazines dedicated to every detail it just shows how mindless people are, trying to fill the empty voids in their lives with the daily occurences of "Brangelina" and "Tomkat". By the way, is anyone as annoyed by the new way to describe celebrity couples as I am?

its all their money. they use their big wads of cash to bribe the higher ups (police government etc). why dont they share their money with us, were the ones that pay for their freedom anyway.

If their publicist recommends them to get more publicity and then the celeb ends up hating the whole publicity thing, then why fuck not fire your publicist? Its becuase they enjoy it. More publicity more money!! More money more power!!

Even if the publicist recommends that a celebrity be all obnoxious that doesn't mean they have to do it.

I don't think they always have to like their popularity, but if they really don't they don't need to whine about it or physically act on it. If they want to share their talent but aren't into the popularity thing there are independent and lesser known means for it.

It all depends who the celebrity is normally I take alot more interest on British Celebs coz I live in Britain and American celebs go way over the top
