Did anyone see Rent and Producers? I saw both on Broadway and I loved them both. Rent used to be my favorite play ever now it’s my favorite movie. What about you guys?

I love RENT...on broadway. But personally, I thought that the movie sucked. It was cheesier than a Lifetime movie. I mean, it did have it's good parts (like Maureen's "Over the moon" part) but other than that I didn't really like it.

As for The Producers, the old movie with Gene Wilder (from 1968, I think) was wonderful but the preview for the new one doesn't look that good to me.

i saw Rent, but only at the movies...i looved it.

I never saw Rent as a musical but I love the soundtrack.

And I loooooooooooooooooved the movie. I saw it three times in theatres (my boyfriend sure enjoyed being dragged there. :D ). I'm addicted to it but it's not playing here anymore.

As for The Producers, never saw that either, or even cared, but now that I've seen the trailers I've decided I would totally go see a play called Springtime For Hitler and now I kind of want to see the movie.
