What was the most horrific haircut/hairstyle you ever had?



When I was six or so, my hairdresser was supposed to give me a bob (somewhat short hair, but not too short). Instead, she cut off most of my hair and I looked kind of boyish until it grew back. That was traumatic. Share your stories (or pictures, if you want).

I rocked a mushroom cut when I was like 6.

I wanted layered hair when i was about 9 but the hairdresser thought id look better with shorter hair (failed to tell me what she was gonna do) and cut it really short bit by bit, i kept asking if she was goin any shorter and she said no but she kept gettin shorter. i ended up just gettin the rest cut off so i looked like a dude.

Ive burnt any pictures of me from the few months i looked like that lol.

When I was about 7 I decided I wanted to be a boy.

So I cut my hair.

Then I wanted a mohawk.

That didn't go well.

When I was 11, I asked my hairdresser for a long thin fringe. She gave me the bluntest, thickest fringe I've ever seen that just looked awful. I had a total meltdown.

I remember crying when I looked in the mirror after I had had my hair cut when I was about 8 or 9. My mum was majorly embarrassed. It was funny (but not at the time...obviously).

That's about as bad as it got. There was the hairdresser who pulled my hair out instead of cutting it but that's a boring story.

Six years old. I had a mullet-type thing going on. I was at that age where I hated brushing my hair and my mom couldn't make me, so that didn't help anything either.

when i was like in year 3....the hairdresser didnt understand the term trim and i ended up having short hair......all i can say is never again in this lifetime

When I was seven or so, I got extremely sick.
And because of that, I was just laying all over the house.
And six months later...
After laying down for so long it just turned into a huge mess.
So they had to cut it in a bob.
It looked horrible, because some of it was uneven.
And I looked like a guy.

when i was in third grade, i thought that whole chin-length thing was for me so i rocked that for about a year...but since then, i've kept my hair long and layered.

6 months ago she cut it sooo short it was like 2 in. past my ears. i looked SOO ugly but it looked nice in a ponytail. short hair looks so cute in a ponytail
