View Full Version : Can you only receive text messages when your cell phone is on?

Cause I message the phone company to give me my password for my photo album and its been 2 weeks and no response

Ummm...yes? Your text messages like your voicemail are dependant on the network. The general rule is that the network would "hold" your message for up to 7 days waiting for you to connect to the network. Being off the network such as being in areas that do not have service or having your phone powered off will prevent you from receiving the message on your phone but it will be "held" on to for you. As it has been two weeks you really should call into your customer service department.

call the customer service, i doubt they'll answer ur text messege, they need to verify that its really u, not some idiot who stole ur cell and wants to change the password...

many man is absoultly correct the service will hold your messages untill you reconnect
