I DON'T want them and there is NO getting around it!!!!!!!!! I can't get invisible and i can't put them behind my teeth either. I am DEPRESSED I WILL LOOK HORRIBLE with braces HELP HELP HELP HELP! I need somebody to help me feel better...cause theres no way out of them unless i don't get them.

Yeah, I'm afraid sucking it up is really the best thing to do. They may make you look nerdy or weird, but they will come off one day. I've had braces for a year and still have two to go, if I can live with them I'm sure you can.

Trust me hun, its not THAT bad. I had horrible teeth and I only had my for 2 years, I just got them off tuesday and I love my smile now! I feel so much more confident, its great.

You don't have to get braces if you don't want them. So don't.

Or, you can get braces have them on for a couple years, gain some confidence. Whatever, time goes by fast. I've had mine on for almost two years. They aren't that bad. I forget I have them on.

yeah dont be so dramatic, its just braces, its not the end of the world... no one cares if u have braces trust me, and besides if u need braces, then your teeth must be really crooked and misaligned. IMO its better to have braces for a couple years then have straight teeth than have ugly crooked teeth. trust me i had them, lots of people have. you'll probably have to have them for 2 years, so if u do ur lucky... i had to have them for 4 years cause my teeth were really really messed up.

Yeah, don't worry about it. If you are cute without braces then you will be cute with braces too. Having braces wouldn't make me not want to date a girl.

You will NOT look ugly with braces I got pink ones everyone said they were pretty and kewl. They don't hurt getting put in. If u bite ur nails u won't be able to do that with braces so thats another good point about them you will have pretty nails. But they do iratate me cos stuff gets stuck in them and they somtimes cut inside my mouth its annoyin but i can live with it dont worry. I'm glad I have them. xx

the NHS here in the UK won't do mine
but they did all my friends braces and i need them cause it shows up really bad
if i want braces im going have to have £2000 pound for it
and i can't afford it

so im left with shitty teeth

I'm getting braces in 5 weeks.................... only because one tooth decided to grow in the middle of my mouth........ freaking out too.... i no how it is..... at least I can get pink.

psh i have to get surgery in the top of my mouth then braces for 3 years and a gold chain on the teeth inside the top of my mouth to bring them down , id think of myself as lucky if i just had to get braces because i would only need them for 9 months if those 2 teeth were in . but ive heard that theyre not that bad , and it will be worth it in the end

do whats best for you. if your teeth are not that bad...it might not be best... i have heard frm a mate who had them her teeth started 2 go back into the original positioning..and wasnt worth the hassle...although sum ppl can have them and then ther teeth look so much better, talk 2 ur othordontist about any concerns! personally i had braces about a year and a half ago...although only for a week, as i got them taken out, they realy did make me feel depressed, i thought i looked ugly and didnt realy want to go out. some ppl like braces alot, some people hate them alot. just bear in mind how the gnna make u feel...whether u do realy want them and the long term effects of them being better. :) good luck! and realy there not that bad now looking back, just think it over how it will all effect u tho! so you dont have regrets either way! :)

Everyone has braces these days! It might be big to you, but its not to anyone else! my friend recently got braces, and i dont notice anymore to be really honest! And just think of the beatiful smile you'll have

well..last time i went to see the doctor cause i wanted to have braces...but the doctor restrain me from getting any..anyway think bout ur future...they'll make you feel better..and increse ur confidence level

iii have braces and i love em! just get not blatent colours like pale blue or grey! just think of the good their doing...and dont smile in photos with ur teeth showing . there kll good luck sweetie!

But, if you still feel self-concious with them on, draw attention away from your mouth by making your eyes look good, so people notice them and not your mouth!
