Anyone had it? Tell me about it. I think I may, or if I don't, I soon will as my boyfriend was just diagnosed with it...

I had it. I was dead tired for at least 3 weeks. Didn't really have an appetite, mostly because I slept all the time.
I had a mild case of it. My friend had it worse a year after me, and she had sores in her mouth/throat.

My best friend had a very bad case of it, mostly because at the time she was going through a lot and trying different medicines, which her body wasn't reacting to. Anyways, her immune system was very weak. She was out for five weeks. This is something that's a bitch to catch, because not only does it make you feel incredibly shitty, afterwards you will have a mountain of homework and tests awaiting you at school. I hope you don't catch it.

I had it last year. I didn't have a really bad case though so I was lucky, but a lot of my friends missed insane amounts of school. You also can't have any alcohol when it is in your body (about 6 months) because your spleen could erupt, and you'd die. So yea that sucks.

Kissing disease? Not necessarily. Actually, I got it from a spider bite. I was really sick and really tired for about two weeks before I got back to school.

It can be spread by kissing, but that's not the only way. I got it when I was 9...and sadly, no, I was not making out with anybody then.

I got it last september. It took months to go away and I still don't feel all that great. I didn't miss a whole bunch of school at once though. Just a week or two here and there, it does add up though.
Sore throat, fatigue, loss of appetite and headaches were the symptoms I had most often. It also really lowered my immune system so I ended catching a whole bunch of colds on top of that. Also you shouldn't do much or any physical activity as that can cause your spleen to rupture because then then you'd have to have it removed and that wouldn't be much fun.
