Hi, i'd like a bit of advice if possible?
Basically, i'm 5"5 and 112lbs [Or about 7 and a half stone]. I'm not stick thin, but I don't have as full a figure as I want. I went away to Australia in the summer for 6 weeks, and I put on half a stone in weight, and I felt great about my body. Then I came back to England, and it all just disappeared. However, it's stayed on my hips/stomach/thigh areas. What I want to know is:
- How do I go about putting on weight? Such as, what foods are good to eat for putting on weight.
- Is there any way I can get the weight I put on to go onto my breast/rib cage area? Because that is the part I really want to put weight on.

How about just eating food, that's the best way.

You should be eating lots of carbs and things like that. And if you want strength as well as size, start doing olympic lifts and throwing back the weight gainer they sell at GNC or fittness nutrition stores.

There aren't many opinions on how to gain weight. What was your lifestyle like in Australia that made you gain the weight in the first place? Try to mimic that. All I can really say is try to eat more calories and do less exercise in a day. Try to stay healthy all the while though. Good luck :)

Plenty of carbs (wholegrain) (maximum 11 servings a day - check serving sizes) and protein, however, don't eat tons and tons of fatty food as that is dangerous to your health, maybe have one more portion of fat a day than you are supposed to, and choose "Good" fats (Avocadoes, Oily Fish, Polyunsaturated spread such as flora.) Don't cut out exercise because that is unhealthy, but choose something like walking, instead of running.

Spicey stuff , grease , alot of meat and milk and bread. dont go and eat 10 bags of potato chips , that wont help , just eat alot of stuff with spices on 'em like chiken!!
P.S. you should be lucky you dont have to gain weight.

your skinny but your not like sickly skinny. you dont really need try and gain weight because if you do it probably won't go where you want it to. you want it on your boobs but it's more likely to go to your butt or hips. if want to gain a little weigth just try and eat a little more but not junk food and exercise more that will build a little muscle and you will still be slender but not so skinny

eat AT LEAST 2000 calories a day and eat a lot of protein and carbohydrates. to gain it healthily/muscle eat a lot of calories but in whole grain foods and lots of fish, meat, yogourt, and cheese..and peanut butter. do some muscle training too.
