yeah i love stargate sg1, got all the box sets on dvd. not seen that much of atlantis though

SG-1 and Atlantis are both good shows, but they wouldn't exist without the movie. It's amazing how much Michael Shanks looks like James Spader in the early seasons of SG-1.

it was well into season 2 that i actually realised michael shanks wasn't the guy in the film:)

I found it to be fairly obvious that they weren't the same guy, but the overall look and mannerisms are dead on when compared to the movie.

I absolutely LOVE Atlantis and SG-1!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for the second season of Atlantis to come out on DVD!!!!!!!!!!!

eh, i gave them a shot because i love the movie in a campy star-wars kinda way. they were alright i guess, still nothing compared to Battlestar Galactica or Carnivale or Lost, those three still rank as the three best science fiction shows on TV to date, with Firefly in a close fourth.

you say nobody can find the island, how do you know anyones even looking? the plane was supposedly miles of course.
