What’s up everyone? Have you seen Sin City? It has so many great stars like Bruce Willis, the sexy Jessica Alba, Brittany Murphy, Michael Clarke Duncan and many more. Check it out at cinemanow by going to http://www.cinemanow.com/1,0,5,,0,0,17680/Frank-Millers-Sin-City.htm?affid=534 .

it sucked.

"Oh my god, who killed Goldie. I gotta find the man who killed Goldie."
"Who's that? it looks like Goldie, but Goldie's dead, how can that be?"

OH MY GOD, shut the fuck up about Goldie.

the Bruce Willis' character's story wasn't bad, but i still didn't like it.

the Slut's ruling the streets and them and the cops have this alliance deal or whatever. Stupid.

I didn't like it.

it sucked.

I didn't like it.

"It sucked" is a very different statement from "I didn't like it."

I loved it, but I'm a graphic novel fan, and it was virtually word for word.

Excellent use of technology, too. Much better than any of the other digital backlot crap that was released.

do you have anything better to do other than point out people's mistakes?

besides if i said it sucked it probably means i didn't like it also.

Obviously not. But 'It sucked' is a general sweeping statement implying that everyone in the world thought it was terrible. Which is not necessarily true.

I thought it was a great movie. It's nice to see something a little different than the norm.

I said it sucked. Not the world, but me. I did not mean for the statement 'it sucked' to mean that the world thought it sucked. It was my own opinion and said myself that 'it sucked'.

Then next time, please be sure to put 'I think..' before.

I wouldn't have to assume if you put your thoughts across clearly and coherantly. :)

Do you have any idea what you just said?

Films used to be in black and white because technicolour was expensive. There was no one genre and style of film based on it's lack of colour.

sory.. i ment that note " i gues it brought back the meaning of films in black and white.." as a more personal note for myself.. because sin city was so exciting.. and was in black and white.. it made me want to watch other black and white films.. =_=...

Speaking of the sequel, anyone know which stories it is going to cover? I heard A Dame to Kill For, any advances on that?

I've seen it. It's intense but really gory. I didn't know a black and white comic movie could be that gory.

Well actually it wasnt only word for word, it was shot for shot, the books where used as story boards for the film

i've stated before that while Robbie Rodriguez sometimes makes questionable films like the latter spy kids films, he's still the most skilled director in the united states (besides, atleast he didnt turn the Desperado sequel into a kids movie because he got some chick knocked up like SOME asshole film makers would *coughlucascough*)and even with a pile of money, his skill never falters, whether its 7 grand (El Mariachi) or 7 million (once upon a time in mexico) his skill never falters. many other indy film makers lost thier touch when given too much money, kevin smith is a perfect example of this. (as much as i love the guy, money isnt good for kevin.)

Anyway, i liked sin city for what it was: a romp. and the kids on this site generally lack a certain taste for anything exept lindsay lohan movies. i've seen people call The Grudge the greatest film of all time. no joke. it depresses the hell out of me but its better than those prickly shitheads on IMDB so i cant complain.

he'll be doing the other two books that arent to hell and back or booze broads and bullets, then for the last movie he'll do to hell and back with johnny depp. also frankie miller'll be doing some original material starring jessica alba.

this is all i've heard.
