You know when that guy from Fast and Furious rolls up to that racer crowd and blows/shoots off some steam at the front of his car. Thats from nitrous right?

I was wondering if there was another way of "doing" the same thing, maybe JUST for that effect and not really hooking up a nitrous system to your engine. (warranty bla bla bla)
I wanted to maybe mount two nosles somewhere around my grill or a little lower, and at the push of a button some steam/nitrous shoots out, the valves will be directed down and sideways so it would look like a raging bull blowing through his nose.


You guys probably have no idea what i am talking about and why etc...
I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas on how i could "build" such a "system" since i prolly will have to make it custom.
Like simple a Nitrous bottle, obviously some lines, on/off valve, a button, more lines to go trough the hood and then two thin nosles....anybody have any ideas, or if something similar exsists what it could be called etc?

I dont even make sence to myself right now when i read what i just wrote, but oh well.

It'd be a total waste of money. It would probably cost about the same as a nitrous kit, without the performance. I think you would have to buy an actual nitrous sytem and just not run it into the injectors.

If you want a nitrous purge, wait until your waranty is out and then go for a kit, one actually hooked to your engine.

But essentially, if you plan on running true nitrous, purging is used to clear lines before usage to get a strong consistant flow of n2o.

yeah dont buy an actual nitrous bottle you moron. what a waste of money. just buy a bottle, paint it blue and slap a NOS or paint it purple and put ZEX sticker on it like the rest of the ricers do

and yes you are right that is super gay to have a fake nitrous purge.

It's called a purge valve/purge solinoid. Nitrous tends to expand if you leave it in the lines for a while, it also cools down, which reduces pressure. A purge valve basically gets old stale nitrous out of the system.

If you wanted to make it look like you had a nitrous kit you could always hook up a pressurized CO2 tank to a purge valve.

Oh yeah by the way: N2o is expensive, so hooking up a purge valve just so you could spray fog is a pretty stupid idea. If you're gonna go through the trouble, you might as well add a 50 shot or something .

And last thing to all: I was asking what the system is, i just had an idea, i never said i was planing on doing it. Plus, i dont think a 2002 fully loaded A4 is a ricer vehicle, neither will i make it one. Part showcar tho, yes. And i'm gonna leave the nitrous part alone and hook up a real one when my warranty is over....i was just THINKING about a purge system now until i basically convert it to a real system.

Anything you change in/on a car, besides basic maintenance, is a total waist cause you will never get your money back out of it. Any HP addition, body work, bla bla bla...its lost money and most of the times even kills the value of the car.

Because no matter what the bigger engine will always be better in PERFORMANCE. That's all I've ever been saying. Another thing, saying I'll never own none of the cars I like is crazy, for one, my Tahoe(which is NOT a pickup btw) is worth more than LT1s. So if I wanted to right now I could see my Tahoe and buy an LT1. I could even look hard enough and find a higher mileage LS1 for around the same price. I'd rather wait til I get out of college and have a good job so I can go out and buy whatever car I want to. Yeah I can go out and buy a Camaro right now, but I'd rather wait a few years to buy what I REALLY want.

A new corvette engine has 400+hp (not exactly sure on the exact bhp) and it fits under the small hood of the corvette's frame. Also, putting parts on your car ISNT a waste of money if you know what your doing and how to maintain it all. expessialy if you are putting on new exaust/muffler/port & polish/ect.
