Hey!
I just wrote this poem and I know it really sucks, but tell me what you think. Any suggestions are welcome. It is about this guy, long story really, but it may not make sence, but to me it does(but thats just me). Anyway, I wrote it b/c I saw the guy today that I wrote ths about, and I donno...I haven't seen him in awhile...it just all confusses me. (even more) Well, thanks for your time!
--------------------------------------
Tonight I woke up screaming,
from a nightmare of the past,
it was the very moment,
I broke your heart of glass.
Tears once shed,
over love's barrial ground,
are now all thats left,
of a soul still bound.
Your voice once calmed me,
and your eyes saw through me,
I thought you where the one,
maybe I wasn't wrong.
I'll never know what its like,
to see the day beyond the night.
To look into your face,
and tell you how I feel,
to rid this pain
that I've been hanging onto for years.
Then I see you again,
and it all comes back,
all those memorys I thought would surely fade,
as I fell from grace.
You look at me,
after all these years,
and I bite my tongue,
because I know I'll never experience
what I was always too afraid to feel.
