is one supposed to wear socks with ballet flats?

who is one?? ONE is a number, and it does not wear ballet flats.. we were studying this in a psychology class i go to and people with low self-esteem or that hav had people tell them theyre nobody, that they arent worth anything, etc. are the people that use "one" as a pronoun. also, dont say " are you supposed to wear socks with ballet flats?" because thats the same thing as one. instead you should say am I supposed to wear socks with ballet flats? and, no, in my opinion that looks ugly.

...according to the united states system of stardardized tests the use of the word one as a pronoun is grammatically correct when writing a declarative/informative/summative or otherwise non-personal work. it is used to replace the personal forms you or i, which are to be considered incorrect, and is also to be equal to the use of "a person".

forget the psychological crap, honestly, it's just what many have been taught is correct.

anyhow, ballet flats look good with bare feet or nylons, but no socks.

Yes, I wear socks with them sometimes, it depends on what kind of socks..TopShop have some really nice ones that look good with Skinny Jeans and flats.
