hey,
my skin feels tight on my face for some reason. feels like its peeling a little bit. i tried washing my face but it just made it worse. what should i do? Think lotion would help it stay moist or non dry??

Tried soap and water
Tried Water
Hot water
Dawn and water

Everything except lotion. Before I use lotion, I want to know if it will make my skin feel a lot better?

 yes lotion will help but try a non perfumed lotion as dry skin can be sensitive. :flower2:

Wash your face with 3 in 1 towelettes...then moisturise twice a day and make sure you exfoliate to get rid of dead skin. Wear sunscreen when in the sun.

drink lots of water
avoid using exfoliants

Moisturize day and night
wear sunblock

Washing strips your skin of it's natrual oils, especially when washing with soap. Washing with Dawn is never necessary, unless you use your face as a serving plate for barbequed ribs. Dawn, and other dishwashing detergents, are formulated to break down grease. It is far too harsh to be using on your face. Just use the lotion.

I get really dry skin on my face, and i use either E45 skin cream for eczema (even though i dont have it) or Oilatum. Thats the best, ever since ive used that i havent had any trouble, so long as I use it everyday.

Any moisturizer should work. I use clean and clear morning burst and it works well.

No steam wont help, but it will open your pores. So its actually good for your skin to steam your face (ive got an actual face steamer that I love), then use a face wash/acne cream afterwards.

Back on subject, the best moisturizer ive used has been by Prescriptives, it moisturizes but absorbes (Sp?) oil at the same time, so you get less of the 'shiny look' on your face half way through the day. It is a bit pricey though... 40 bucks for 1.7 oz.
