It creeps beneath the slumbering darkness
Eyes ejecting their loathing
Onto the desperate metropolis
Glittering ebony jewels that sink fanged teeth
Into a child’s neck
Tearing the arteries with all its devotion
And never releasing its grasp

He bears your child
And holds your soul
In clawed fingers that scratch
Leaving indents never re-sewn to your heart
Always caressing the miniature bruises
Kissing such warm blossoms
That poison the mind
And shoot a bullet through the lungs

The savior and the punisher
Who watching your child sleep so silent
Could steal the slumbering breath
And swallow it deep within its gut
Then again perhaps would grant a kiss
To the prison which light has never touched

Wow! that is one awesome poem! You used really visual words! I wish I could write like that...
Anyway, it is a really great poem. I especially liked
Onto the desperate metropolis
Glittering ebony jewels that sink fanged teeth
Into a child’s neck
Tearing the arteries with all its devotion
That was the best part.
It does need a title though...

Some vivid imagery in there, good to see you're moving away from the macabre side of things. Some lovely short sentances which declare the supsense.

Especially:
Glittering ebony jewels that sink fanged teeth
Into a child’s neck
Tearing the arteries with all its devotion
And never releasing its grasp
