i've been trying to lose weight for awhile but nothing seems to work, i dont know what to do to help me lose weirght and everytime i think about me never being skinny it gets me so mad at myself and my body for being so stupid and i get so depressed thinking i'll never wear a bikini during summer, i dont know what to do :cry:

yeah but im fat and im trying to lose the weight so i can look like the other girls at my school cuz they are like toothpicks and thats what all the guys gor for at my school

What if she want to lose weight for herself? Personalley i don't care what guys think. I want to lose weight for ME! Doing a few push ups a day is not going to do anything.

Basic rule for weight loss is Energy in < Energy out. So either eat less or exercise more. There are sites on the net that will give you your base metabolic rate, which is how many calories you burn off a day simply by breathing.

I found the best way to lose weight is joining a gym. I force myself to go there because I am paying so much in fees so I feel guilty if I don't go. And they have a pool, spa, steam room so I can relax there too. Spin classes are good, but I usualley just go on the cross trainers and treadmils and the bikes.

join a sport like swimming n karate. it REALLI works ure musles. we r gonna b gettin a ymca membership, so i will go there hang in the pool, run on the track, play basketball, take karate, n use the gym 4 my exercise.

if you don't like to exercise, exercise with friends. it will be more fun. join a club or a sport. buy fitness tapes. anything. if you work out for at least 15 minutes a day you will see results.

just go for a daily walk w/sum friends every day after skool, & stop eating junk food. stop beating urself up over ur size. there are much bigger grls that get bfs bc they have a nice personality. and dont lose weight 4 tha guys...it wont mean as much, n its stupid

yeah, so i do cardio now, and crunches sit ups and push ups so that should be enough

eh...the more cardio the better. sit ups and push ups and whatnot only target certain areas, and they dont really help you lose all that much weight...walk 40 minutes 4 times a wk, and go to a gym and do aerobics classes or something
