Not me...but about a week ago, my sister was seeing a play at Brown University and Danny DeVito's daughter or neice was in it so he was there and my sister met him. Also, Ewan McGregor kissed my mom a few years back.

That's all I got.

I met John Lithgow in New York this year. It was May 29th, and I was walking back to the hotel after seeing "Wicked." Suddenly I passed a tall man heading in the opposite direction as me. It took my brain a few seconds to register that it was the ONE AND ONLY John Lithgow! I could not for the life of me remember his last name, though, so I followed him yelling "John! John!" (I'm sure he thought I was some crazy stalker LOL). Finally, after yelling his first name about ten times, I finally thought to add "Can I have your autograph?" That did the trick, and I pulled out my handy-dandy autograph book (a necessity when you're a rabid Broadway fan let loose in NYC) and he signed it. I was on cloud nine for the rest of the day! Although I was also embarrassed to have made such a spectacle of myself. Oh well, at least I got his autograph, that's all that matters! :)

I haven't met alot, but i've seen alot around toronto. I saw Eugene Levy and Samuel L. Jackson on the set of The Man, that craig kid from degrassi, I've met ashlee simpson twice, Seen Ed harris, Maria bello and viggo mortensen on the set of A history of Violence...i dunno i've seen more im pretty sure.

Well, it was a long time ago...in the early 90's and my mom was in NYC with her british friend who knew who Ewan McGregor was and they saw him. Now, my mom had never heard of him, but she went up to him anyway and said "I'm such a huge fan!" (I mean, come on he's gorgeous!). So then he just gave her a kiss - on the cheeck. And then supposedly his wife (or ex-wife now?) punched him. And ever since then my mom has been in love with him. :)

i live in toronto so i see celebrities everywhere the month of october while the TIFF is going on so i'll just stick to the celebrities i actually respect.

i once met George Clooney while he was promoting Goodnight and Goodluck, he shook my hand and i told him i was a fan with an exeption for Batman And Robin, he laughed to my relief.

Chanwook Park was in town promoting Sympathy For Lady Vengeance, he's one of my favorite living film makers so i got his autograph on my copy of Oldboy which i had ran home to get as fast as i could before he left the bar he was at.

i met Johhny Depp at a TIFF screening, he was nice, sat in the same isle i did.

Luc Besson was in town on some promotional thing for the north american release of Danny The Dog and i saw him at a coffee shop talking to a little crowd of fans so i joined in.

and i got to shake the hand of Robert Rodriguez, which was fantastic.

other people i've seen... hmm, uh Adrian Brodie, Jake Gylinhaal, Takashi Miike, Ron Perlman, Dave Groal, like that.

its nice living in toronto, people in canada arent nearly as crazed as people in the states about celebrities so they tend to feel more comfortable about walking the streets and shaking peoples hands.

I've met someone semi-famous. Tammin Sursok from Home and Away. But it was when she was promoting her album at a shopping centre close by. It was only by accident that my sister and I found out she was performing there too. We had gone shopping the day before because I needed to look at something that was only at this particular shopping centre. So we were going past HMV and it said that Tammin was going to be there performing and signing albums and singles.

My sister had been a fan of hers since she released her first single, I had never really gotten into it because it was just another soapie star turned pop star. Anyway my sis begged me to take her back the next day and I said I would because my sis had never really been to anything like that before and it was sooo cool! I'm glad I took her. We got up really close to the stage thanx to me (being in a chair does have its advantages). Then the guys that were giving away prizes gave one to me and I wasn't even doing anything because screaming loud for free stuff just doesn't interest me (it was a bag full of cd's which i didn't like but i gave them away as gifts later lol). Then after Tammin sung she was going to sign autographs and the guys got her to come and meet me and my sister first! I couldn't believe it!
She's the nicest girl ever and her voice is amazing!!! We even got a photo with her and she hugged me!!!!!!!!!! She didn't hug my sister though so she wasn't too happy about that lol I was happy for the rest of the day, rubbing it in her face. I didn't even like Tammin that much. Of course now that I know she can sing extremely well live it's changed my opinion of her.
So yea, after getting right up close to see well, getting free cd's, getting an autograph, a hug and a photo, it was definately worth going to see her. I still have the photos and vid of her on my digital camera lol and I show everyone...not as much now though.
