i get 50% discounts and when you start working there they give you 2 free pairs of thier jeans , cause you hav to where thier brand , but i already hav like half thier jeans lol , theres another line by abercrombie called EZRA - fitch , they only had a couple of stores and they weren't doing good so they added some of the items to the regular abercrombie , the shirt in the 1st pic is from the ezra-fitch brand

How much do the items in the links cost? I feel that each item may be more than my entire clothes budget for the last year.

It doesnt matter. Almost all retailers go in swings. They'll be back up in a month. Most could be considered blue chips.

Abercrombie is NOT awesome. Abercrombie models are one of the main reason why a lot of females and males are anorexic or bullemic. People such as Paris Hilton are the kind of people that other people feel jealous of and want to be like her, but they can't. Abercrombie sucks, American Eagle sucks, all those stores. I hate them with a passion.

Overly-priced things just aren't worth it, IMHO.
I'm sure you can find something just as cute as an 'A&F' item for two or three dollars at a thrift store.

Umm like you know what you do about the prices at stores like abercrombie? The five finger discount. lol. I can't afford abercrombie so I shop there but I don't actually shoplift. But I do like thrift stores and I know alot of thrift stores that will basically buy whole out fits from stores like abercrombie new and never worn then sell them for like $10 at the thrift store. Of course that is only certain ones and you have to do some shopping.

But it is true that not all of us have rich parents and some of us do have to make money themselves.

YukiYaoi68
07-27-2005, 10:10 AM
Ya know though, my parents always wanted me to be "popular" and they always offered to buy me clothes from a&f. But I don't like the clothes there, I think they look TOO cool and revealing, and tight. And of course, the prices, ugh I wouldn't even let my mom waste her money on those for me. Its Walmart and Chicos for me!! ^_^

you get 50% off on two outfits when a new line/season comes out.. then any other time you get 30% off. It is sort of lame.. sort of expensive when you are a poor college student lol and you only get paid 6 dollars an hour.. me.. im a lifer.. meaning ive been working there for more than two years.. I know my shit lol

This obviously shows your intelligence. Just because something is second hand doesn't mean it's gross. Second hand means that it's a classic piece that people love, and aren't selfish enough to keep for all eternity, to be worn only once. Btw, you can get kick ass jewelery at a thrift store, but I guess you wouldn't know that, right?

its not stupid and its a whole lat easier that tlkin in whole sentances

Yes, but some people actually have talent, and try their hand at writing. Ex: Me. So I find net talk boring, senseless, and a waste of time. Especially when trying to figure out what people are saying. And yes, you spelled "sentences" wrong, along with so many other things. Being a writer, it pisses me off to see so many gramatical errors in one sentence, even with net talk. Congrats.

Armani Exchange

Did you pick up the helping hand shirt? I got it in white, which is nice, but I really wanted it in green.

italiano_carmine
08-01-2005, 09:08 PM
i did actually. mine is black though. you can get green online, but i didnt see it when i was in chicago

Mike5055
08-01-2005, 09:10 PM
Yeah when I ordered it online, the green was sold out. You live near Chicago? Thats where I always go. So much shopping, and they've got the big Kenneth Cole, Banana Republic, and Ralph Lauren stores all near each other.

italiano_carmine
08-01-2005, 09:13 PM
i live in grand rapids michigan, close enough. lol i go there alot in the summer though, thats like my favorite city. but yeah, thats where you gotta do the shopping for sure. we have malls and stuff, but its just filled with ABERCROMBIE and whatnot, so fuck that

Mike5055
08-01-2005, 09:16 PM
Yeah, atleast at Milwaukee they have like Banana Republic, JCrew, and Express, but Chicago has it beat easily. I just hop on the train when I want to go down, so much cheaper than driving.

I was in DC this past week, and Georgetown has some amazing shopping. Almost puts Chicago to shame.

italiano_carmine
08-01-2005, 09:18 PM
thats sweet. i havent been to DC since i was a kid, ill have to check it out sometime. yeah, we do have banana republic and express too, but its nothing substantial, so that kinda sucks

Mike5055
08-01-2005, 09:21 PM
The Banana Republic at Mayfair, Milwaukee, is pretty big. Mostly I resort to going to Chicago or using the internet.

Yeah, I was out at DC checking out some colleges. I ended up finally checking out an H&M when I was over there. Pretty nice, I ended up buying some stuff.

everything i post i own
That just proves that you don't know how to spend money wisely.

I'm assuming you've bought their raggity-ass jeans with holes? Probably; I think their around $50 to $70 dollars, when you could goto Wal*Mart and get some holeless jeans for $15 and tie em to your car, then drag 'em down the highway. In otherwords: Abercrombie & Fitch is nothing more than an expensive fad among 9 to 20 year old girls and gay men.
