Drink a lot of water you'll piss a lot but it "cleans" out your system and it can stop fat from storing its self...if you get what I mean. And plus it fills you up. So drink a glass of water before you eat anything you won't feel as hungry and you'll eat less.

i know this sounds dumb, but you really don't need to lose weight! you are below average weight for your height. if anything, you are a bit thin.

what you might want to do, though, if you feel insecure about your body, is not to lose weight, but to tone your body up, which will get rid of excess fat and tone muscle.

try pilates and yoga, and drink a lot of water and eat well.

logical, but then would you not get bloated? by all the water?

Do toning exercises, and lots of crunches. You can do a lot more workouts with your legs if you have a strong stomach.

Well it would be water weight...

Yeah, uhm, I'm not sure if that information was correct lol

You should only get bloated by it if you don't drink it a lot ussually, if you keep up the water drinking it can actually reduce bloating because your body doesn't try to hold onto it.

You don't need to loose weight. You are just the right weight or even below weight. I am 5'2 also and I weigh 116. That's average. No use in you trying to loose just a few pounds. Just don't worry about it and be proud of your body. Your other friends prolly just haven't gotten a body yet, they prolly still have the body of a little kid. *shrugs*

theres really no quicker way i can only recommend an excercis its crunchups you dont want to do to many becasue then ull start forming like a 4 pack unless u want that its gunna take time but if you keep up you should see results just whatever you do dont follow the thin commandments that are posted becase starving your self and taking laxitives is the worst thing you can do

firstly stop worrying about losing weight, you wanna look skinnier then work out, do crunches, lift weights, run, etc, and stop worrying about how much you weigh but what you look like

That is very true, but if you start working out more you'll apear smaller, but you might not loose weight. In fact you might gain a little, but that is just muscle and you won't notice.... make sense?

you can go on a detox diet.. i read it in a magazine..
basically...
-avoid alcohal
-dont eat bread. ..it increases your blood sugar, sending ur body into fat storage
-try not to eat a lot of starchy carbs like carrots, potatoes, rice, pasta, and corn..
-stay away from dairy products..it causes you to bloat more.. so take calcium pills or.. eat calcium rich broccoli, almonds or sardines..
-dont eat any sweets.. cuz they trigger a craving for carbs and other foods.. no sodas!!
-dont eat saturated fats, trans fats... stick to fats found in like skinless chicken breast.. egg whites, turkey, salmon, tuna, and nuts...

THIS IS A 2 WEEK PLAN. ... so dont stay on this diet forever.. and also keep workin out and do those abs. and eat healthy

Actually, most of the tips in that diet should be followed all the time if you want a healthy diet e.g. no alcohol/not much high gi carbs

actually, you WANT to eat carbs, just not at night. When you get up, that's the time you want to eat them, because it's energy for your body. The time you don't want to eat carbs, is before bed, because if it's in your body for too long, it will turn to sugar, then to fat.
if you get hungry right before bed, you want to eat protein. (like chicken or eggs.) because protein builds muscle, and muscle builds while you sleep.
so dont listen to the whole, "watch the carbs, watch the calories", because as long as you are moving around in the day, it shouldn't matter anyways.

(i know alot about this crap, so if you have any questions, you can ask!)

yeah the good thing to do is dont diet at ur age, its really bad for you and can stunt your growth. but if u eat salmon and salds you will do well, you have to work out too, specifically on your abs and your butt, do crunches, pull ups and jogg. Drink loads of water and just to make yourself feel better laugh alot :-D

I know you need carbs, i just said you shouldn't eat many high GI carbs. Actually the only time you should have high GI carbs is after working out to replenish glycogen, and high GI carbs are good to take with creatine, but thats a different matter.

Milk is not good for you in any way. It is full of fat, calories and colestoral not to mention it makes your insides all gooey, and you feel like your full of mucus.

5'9, 170lbs, 13? I'm pretty sure that is big/tall for my age.

If you want to lose weigh lose the chips/pop/icecream/fatty foods and eat fruit instead of candy bars. Eat more veggies, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY exercise It's kinda obvious.

You should eat more PROTEIN instead of carbs because carbs digest much more quicker than protein does. So if you eat a high protein breakfast you wont be so hungry later in the day thus reducing the calorie/fat/etc intake you have.

It's been proven (in monkeys) that if you reduce your calorie intake by 30% you will live under good conditions 30% longer. Just don't take it over the top.

1. Do NOT skip meals - this trains your body to store fat
2. Don't eat large meals all at once - eating several small meals during the day is better
3. Excerise in small portions, instead of doing it all at once. It helps with muscle gainage << is that word?
4. Get your hands on all of the teen fitness things that you can. You can get much more professional (and safe) help that way.

Besides...you're not big at all. You're actually small (in my opinion) So don't worry about how much your friends weigh! Everyone is different and you can't use your friends' weight to gauge. I also saw in a survey in a a magazine that says that says um...like 54 or 60 somethin percent of guys prefer women wit meat on their bones!

Hope this helps!

Actually the protein in milk is good for you, and there is skim milk, which takes away the fat, cholesterol and almost half the calories.
