hey, i dont want people to have a go or get in an arguement so if thats wat ur gonna do dont bother replying to this thread.i just wanted to know wat people think about smoking.wot do guys think of girls that smoke?would anyone not want to be friends with someone because the person smokes?iv smoked for nearly a year now and i have tried 2 give up a few times but it never works.i wanted to know that by smoking am i puting people off me?i always carry gum and spray so its not lyk i reak of it.thanx xx

Here's my true opinion on smokers. I try to stay away from them because they smell, and it's true, no matter how much you spray yourself in perfume or colonge, you'll still stink. And when i'm near a person who smokes I also think the smoker isn't the brightest the person in the world for why would he/she smoke? But that's pretty much it, other than that I think it's fine.

Wow, you're so right. There are no words for how much better than everyone else I think I am because I smoke. Anyone who doesn't? They're beneath me. Utterly beneath me. :rolleyes:

Personally I'm not put off by smokers as long as they don't have the nasty yellow-fingertip thing going on. But then, I'm a smoker, so... yeah.

It's stupid, pointless and money wasting. It doesn't do anything other than ruin you're health and appearance (in time). I don't see why anyone would want to start. Who wants a shorter life time, to smell bad and to waste money? People only start to look cool.. I guess they don't realise it doesn't look cool at all!

if we know now a days that its bad for you then why do people start? oh and peer pressure is a sissy excuse.

when i'm at the mall and i'm with my friends and we pass smokers we say "i smell something aweful" and then we cough and i say "My lungs hurt. i think i'm dying of lung cancer."

yes it is a turn off for me on a guy or a girl and when i see a smoker i think i am so above them. Ha! I am better than all smokers!

yes smoking does lead ppl to dis like you you can stop just put ur mind to it ill pray for you good luck

Some people care, some don't. Most people really won't get that angry if their friend smokes. But you will occasionally come across the guy that is like ew you smoke? That's such a turn off, but whatever, there's lots of guys out there if they have a problem with it, find another.

Personally, I don't smoke. but here's what happens if you do. You'll age a lot faster in your face, you can get this one lung problem where you actually sufficate to death. my mom's a nurse, and she takes care of ppl like this all the time. they can't take deep breaths anymore. but they would give to have one more cigg... shallow breaths till eventually, you can't even do that... now that's an awful way to die! and you can also get lung cancer... why would anyone want to do that to themselves?! it's like you know you're killing yourself, but really really slowly. and plus, it smells like shit, and then you reek of it.

i use to smoke but i quit but my bf smoke and he wont quit he says its to hard and hes smoked longer than me but i think its bad thats y i quit.

Second-hand smoke is just nasty for other people to deal with. Gum doesn't do much for your breath when you smoke either, because it's not just in your mouth, and it certainly doesnt stop your teeth from getting yellow. If you're worried about what other people think, quit smoking and spend the money on something attractive.

As long as people don't smoke in public places and stuff then it's ok with me. Personally I think the whole concept of smoking is kind of gross.

In all honesty, it doesn't matter. People smoke and some don't. No one really gives a fuck. As long as you're not smoking and smelling like the Marbrol man, you're good.

Not everyone starts smoking to look cool - I didn't, in fact when I started none of my friends smoked.

Anyway, I don't have a problem with smokers, as long as they can respect that non-smokers don't like and cannot tolerate the smell of cigarettes (btw I'm an ex-smoker now).

and I dont mind being friends with people who smoke. I would never let my bf smoke, but his friends smoke black n milds every once in awhile...

and some of my friends smoke ALL THE DAMN TIME

they just cant smoke in my car...i hate that smell. O and when people blow smoke in my face....god THAT pisses me off.

Its called emphazema(sp?) in health our teacher made us breath through 1 of those REALLI thin red staws so we could c wht its like 2 have emphasima. it would be so hard 2 breath. o in my opinion its a turnoff because i cant stand the smell, but if i realli like the person i jus tell them they cant do it round me

yh but not all people that smoke die like that.i mean my great grandad is 98 and hes fine,smoked since he was 13.altho smoking is a gross habbit so mab i shud stop tryin 2 justify myself.

i hate smoking, it is disgusting, it causes passive smoking, it makes people stink, it kills you early, it makes guys impotent... whats good about it?

I smoke myself about maybe 10 cigs a whole month ... i smoke very little but I still smoke because I enjoy it most of the time I smoke myself if not then with my smoking friends I will stop if someone tells me like when I'm, with friends who hate smoke...

and I don't smoke to look cool in fact in public places i dont smoke because itlooks like im doing just that so i smoke in i dunno more private places like dark clubs blah blah wathever :)
