This thread will probably be answered by the girls on this site, but I'm hoping the guys will join in too and get in touch with their feminine side. lmao I'm just joking but seriously, what movies make you cry?

For me it would be:
Beaches
Here on Earth
Forever Young
Ghost
A walk to remember
Radio Flyer
Sweet November

Radio Flyer is such a classic movie. One question though...how in the heck did you cry to All I want? I mean..I guess the ending was kind of cute but I don't know, I thought that move was kind of...wrong lol

That movie Radio Flyer was sad I hate to admit it but "The City Of Angels" (with Nicholas Cage) always makes me sad.

I forgot all about life as a house and stepmom. Those were pretty sad. :( My dad passed away from cancer and when my mom saw life as a house, we both started bawling.

OMG i watched A Walk To Remember the day it came out, and i cried even after the movie was over, and when i heard "Cry" by Mandy Moore. I love Shane West and when he cried in that movie gosh I just went weak. In the car scene when he put a tatoo on her shoulder I so wanted to be her, except for the whole cancer thing. If i found a guy like that i defenatly wouldnt have wanted to die. That for real was the biggest tearjerker that i have seen and if there is anything more sad well i sure am not gonna see it.

Green mile is so sad. :crying: Mr. Bojangles!!!

And I think I'm the last person on the planet to NOT see Pearl Harbor. I can't watch war movies like that, I don't like seeing all the pain and destruction that happened to our country during that time.

Tuck Everlasting! The book was so much better. Jack was a good movie, too. Ah, the good old days of Robin Williams'... youth? I don't think you could exactly call it youth, but whatever it was... 'twas enjoyable.

argghhh! the movie for a walk to remember doesn't give the book credit at all! i hate the movie. seriously, you have to read the book, its not too long and the story is so much more romantic, the movie misses way too many parts, and when i reached the ending of the book, omg, i cried for like an hour it was so beatiful.
ahem...
The Green Mile ( i know! let's start a Mr. Bojangles fan club!)
Armegedon
and...eh...
it's that italian film i think...the title is something like "a wonderful life" omg, that is the saddest and most beatiful film ever created, anyone know the rell name? i'll look it up.
it's about the family the keeps his son alive in a concentration camp, and eventually gives his life for him.

The movies Ariel has cried at:
Sid and Nancy
Bamboozled
Steel Magnolias
Philadelphia (I see other people cry at it too)
Forrest Gump
Castaway (I cried when Wilson floated away *hides face)
Both Lord of the ring movies I'm sure I'm going to cry a boat load at the third.

PuddingTime
11-29-2003, 11:23 PM
ahh....found it.
"Life is beautiful"
its a foreign film, but it's definitaly the saddest movie ever made.
if you haven't seen it yet, watch it, but bring tissues!!!!!

bawleritis!!!!! finally I have a name for my condition!!!! haha. I don't know what it is, up until about last year I was the one laughing at all the crying people.... now suddenly I cry in so many movies! I just get connected to the characters and I feel really sad for them! Simon birch was really sad, I never really liked Simon but it upset me so much to see Joe cry at the end..... he looks like my boyfriend did when he was about 11 or 12
