I'm 5'2 and weigh about 118. My stomach is pretty flat and I love it. However, I have a little extra around the sides. I don't want to lose weight throughout my midsection because my ribs will stick out (2 years ago I was fine with that but I was in an accident and my ribs still look a little weird), just the love handles. I don't eat a whole lot and don't think I need to cut calories or anything (I may be wrong on that) but I was hoping someone could recommend some good excercises.

SIlly... most of the guys i know LOVE love handles...i gives them somthing to grip...and an exercise to tone them would be crunchs but bend your legs and keep your back on the ground roll you hips to the left do crunchs to the middle and switch...legs right crunches center! Hope this helps!

Supposedly, if you eat too many carbs, it all goes to your love handles - but I think my mom just told me that to get me to stop eating them. But, like the other girl said, do those crunches, they'll be great, and don't worry too much about it, you're obviously not overweight.

i wouldn't worry 'bout em. if your stomach is flat, then it's fine, you obviously dont have any reason to be overly concerned.
