hey well i only weigh 120 pounds and i am 16 but i want to make my legs and stomach and arms tighter! not really lose weight just make my body look better. i am a hip-hop dancer and i want to look reall good when my bf comes back from boot camp in a month. i just started monday and i run every morning and every night i work out after dinner and do about 250 situps (i used to be able to do 1,000 situps when i was in cheer), 50 pushups, and squates. do u think that is good? and i have stoped eating junk food and i am drinking water more instead of just mountain dew and i am only eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and no more snacks. i have a month left and i am gonna be doing these things every day! so please tell me if i can do anything else or if what i am doing is good enough. thx! bye.

Thats great! Your doing fine! All of those exersizes work out your muscle endurance and can build up your strength. Just keep doing what your doing and as you get stronger and feel like you can do more sit ups, push ups etc. Increase the number of reps. Your body will get more toned, belive me I know from experience. But you might get different results for your body since your a girl. I don't know how females bodies change when they workout, but I know it is a more sexy look.

Oh and I forgot one thing. Do more cardio. Incase you don't know that word cardio is a type of exercise that gets your heart and lungs going. I read that you run and thats good. Try biking and if you go to a nighborhood pool, swim some laps.

k, not to sound arrogant, but this routine will be better.
1 month is a short timescale but i think you could realistically lose 10-20 pounds, if you try hard enough.

Fat loss - Low intensity cardio

Low intensity cardio such as jogging, rather than running or competitve sports is essential in buring fat, rather than breaking down glycogen.
15 min warm up, 30 min jogging, 15 min cooldown.

Muscle tone - Legs - Keep doing squats, but make sure that your posture is perfect, and that you feel the burn in the muscle just above your kneecap on both sides (top and bottom) try googling it to get a proper posture.

Stomach - First of all, abs only look good when you've got a low % bodyfat.
Second of all, doing 250-1000 situps isn't any use if you don't know what you're doing.
I would suggest 50 reps of each; contraction, extension, rotation
as well as adding some holding exercises, such as the plank.

Diet - 6 small meals a day, rather than 3 large ones.
Aim for a lot of fruit & veg (say 8 pieces per day)
Low carb, low fat, some protein (ideally after your exercises).

Any questions just ask.
