Does anybody agree with me that lipgloss looks horrible on people with green/blue (blue in particular) eyes? It looks like you're overloaded with make-up doesn't it?

Okay here's my reasoning:
You're only supposed to do your eyes OR lips, not both. Though if you have blue eyes you don't need much eyeshadow and shit, and if you do wear eyeshadow the only colors that look good are more natural-looking colors, that look like you're not wearing any. So like if you have blue eyes its as if you have eye shit already.

Does anybody agree? 'Cause my friend has like...SUPER blue eyes and she wears lipgloss and I said that shes wearing too much make-up (it was before we walked to school, i didn't want her to look like a clown...) and she was like REALLY mad and she was like ALL I'M WEARING IS LIPGLOSS!!! and so i said oh well you shouldn't wear lipgloss if you have blue eyes...and she doesn't agree at all. ...but then again, this comes from person who wears earrings, a thousand neclaces and a million braceletes...she totally over-does it....

I dont know if I agree...I wear lipgloss and do my eyes....and theyre blue btw...

It really does depend on the person, but then again I somewhat know what you mean. One of my older friends is a natural, light blonde with big blue eyes. When she wore really glossy lip gloss it looked horrible. Especially on her. It really made her look like she was on make-up overload. But then again if it was a little ligloss, not too much, it wouldn't look too bad.

Your right, never eyes and lips at the same time.but it doesnt meen you need to ignore them completely.If you have green/bluee eyes play them up with some brown mascara(black wil ruin the effect and draw atention away from the colour.)But dont forget your lips, a lil bit of vasline will do nicely.xxx

i have green eyes and i have gotten compliments before on how good lip gloss looks on me...i dont agree and i think that, if it's applied the right way, lip gloss can look good on anyone...i do agree though if you mean people wearing green or blue eye shadow, because with eye shadow, a super bright or super shiny lip gloss looks over done

To me, extra-shiny lipgloss looks bad on almost everyone.
