i admit it: i have a bit of an acne problem. i'm 16, and it seems like most of us do, so it's nothing i get too upset about, but i do have extreme envy for the few girls my age i see with skin that doesn't seem to suffer zits.
i'm hoping i can get some tips for getting clearer, healthier skin, so if you have any, share them here. thanks.

wash your face with a cleanser and a acne treatment every day and if your skin gets dry a mostriver as well. and try to not it a lot of sugar because sugar is a leading cause of acne.try not to touch ur skin and go easy on the make-up and make sure u clean all ur make-up off ur face at night.
i recommed netrogena acne cleanser and drink lots of water and get exercise! hope i helped any more questions feel free to ask me

this is all excellent advice, especially the part about sugar. i think what you eat actually has the most effect on your skin because i have tried every over-the-counter product out there but my skin never cleared up significantly until i cut most of the sugar out of my diet. then, when i overload on sugar again, i break out like crazy. i just didn't mention it because i didn't want to get into a "what you eat doesn't effect your skin at all" debate, because that's what my dermatologist told me too, and from experience, that is absolutely not true.

The greatest product ever to use on acne is pro active..so try it. Make sure it doesn't have anything allergic in it, or something that will hurt you. Hey, it worked on Jessica Simpson! --Unique

i don't relly no.. i dont have any acne... other than the occasional blemish/pimple but I drink water alot and that's suposedly good 4 ur face. If ur acnes pretty severe... i dont think that any stuff u can just buy at a drug store is relly going 2 do a whole lot (but it might, who knows?) if I were you i'd go c a dermatologist and get sum stuff or something.

Clearasil!!

I'm 18 and still have acne prone skin. Started using Clearasil face wash a few weeks ago and my skin has just about cleared up, almost to the point that I could get away with not wearing any make up. Though I'm not going to take anything away from the recent antibiotic I've been put on E-mycin, which seems to be doing a pretty good job so far. Also perhaps you could consider asking your dr about clindatech too. Of course, if all else fails get a referral to a dermatologist.

if you use an acne cream/face clear/whatever if it stops working go to a different thing for like 2 weeks and then go back and it will work again.

i got that from the beauty tip of the day thread <3:)

Go to your doctor and see if you can get antibiotics you can apply directly to your skin; works wonders!

Drink loads of water, cleanse, tone and moisturise! :cutie:
