i go runin everyday n eat healthily but still dont loose any weight. ma m8z say d@ its coz muscle weighs more dan f@ but how *** i ent losein eny weight!!!!! is it coz im gainin muscle??? what can i do 2 tone up ma tubby tummy n wobbly thighs??? i need help fast!!! cheers :cutie:

ok for your tummy, you can do sit ups or crunches. they're the best, though they take a while to see the effect.

for your thights, lie down on your left side, legs straight. support your torso with your left elbow on the floor and your hand on your left hand. lift your right leg about 45 degrees off your other leg. as many as you want, the more the better. after about 20, you should feel the muscles hurting. same on your right side.

for inner thighs, same as the above, but if you're lying on your left side, seperate your feet, and lift your left leg instead. this one hurts heaps more cos the muscles in your inner thighs dont get as much use.

How long have you been at it? If you just started running and eating healthy then give it some time. You may not see immediate results. If you've been at it for a while, you may want to reevaluate your diet and increase the amount of time you exercise. Do you do any weight training? If all you're doing is running, it's unlikely that you're gaining much muscle mass.

Well...You say that you run, but at what intensity and duration?

Inorder for you to loose weight, and get rid of 'wobbly' you have to be training at 65% (or preferably higher...more like 75-80%) of your Maximum Heart Rate (in order to find ur maximum heart rate just subtract your age from 220). In other words this means run a sustained rate of about 70% of ur maximum ability for a prolonged period of time, something MORE than 30 minutes. The aim is to do an endurance workout that targets your Aerobic System. This will help you LOOSE FAT.

And you should also take into account that TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING IS BAD FOR YOU. You running everyday does you more harm than good (and try to run on grass, as other surfaces will only damage your limbs and bones). When you run your not actually loosing weight as such (your loosing body fluid in the form of sweat, and body fat is being utilised to help create energy) however its when your resting that your body starts to truly work. The healthier and fitter you are, the more weight you will be able to keep off during rest, as your heart and other organs will be working more effeciently. There needs to be a good portion of REST and EXERCISE.

If your getting muscular, it would be because you are sprinting, or doing short bursts, the aim is to run at 75% for atleast 30 minutes, and then eat and rest well.

For your tummy, you should do sit-ups AFTER YOUR LONG RUN....and do your sit-ups till you literally feel that if you do 1 more you are going to die (LOL....no im serious).

Try relaxing more, because stressing about your weight let's you gain weight so try pampering yourself and remember your are beatiful anyway even though your big, take this to the heart cuz i'm fat too. When you get your relaxing day just don't eat much, only fruits and vegetables. The darker the fruit the more healthy. There are a whole bunch of different diets other then fruits and vegetables.-- Unique
