i'm planning on getting a pair of designer sunglasses for the first time.. i've seen some cute ones like chanel, kate spade, oliver peoples and valentino, but i can't decide! any recommendations?!

yeah.. gucci is always a good bet. Dior is always good too. I always have liked versace also.... but for classic sunglasses, Chanel is one of the best (as for quality and style)!

go for Prada, Gucci, Chanel, or D&G. Prada shades are pretty cheap tho. ive got one of each of those, thats y im recommending them

I love Oliver Peoples. Chanels are alright, but there are so many fakes out blehh. I used to have 2 pairs, but then my friend's beast dog ate them. I was sad, but then I got MJ aviators to replace them so it's all good. Ummm yea Oliver Peoples, Gucci is okay, Chanel. Blah blah the usual.

Personally, I like the ones you can get at Marcs for $0.99 that look just like designer glasses.

I got mine that look exactly like designer glasses at a mall for like 5 bucks.. They're freaking awesome and I love em to death.

Chanel. Also, my mom has Cartier ones that are nice. I don't like the Versace ones I've seen though, they look like immitation designer sunglasses.

I have a pair of oakleys and a pair of cheap immitation oakleys. the real thing, $100+ the immitations, $5. They both do the same damn thing. it shouldn't matter who made them, as long as they do the job they are supposed to do, who cares about designers? unless you're just trying to be a trend following sheep with money to burn.
