I don't really know of many, aside from Amelie, Run Lola Run, and Ong Bak. And I just watched Love Me if You Dare from France, and I thought it was brilliant. So I'm interested in seeing some others.
What are some good ones?

Takeshi "Beat" Kitano's films are awesome.
Voilent Cop
Boiling Point
Sonatine
Zatoichi

Battle Royale
And if you have a strong stomach you will maybe like Takashi Mîke's "Ichi the Killer"

<3 someone mentioning Takeshi Kitano and Takashi Miike before me. <3<333333
(You forgot Hana-Bi, though, one of Kitano's greatest films)
Also, if we're going old-school, watch Rififi (Sometimes called Le Chez Du Rififi, I think) or 'M'. Peter Lorre as a child molesting murderer! It's pretty ace.

City of God is a brazilian film based on the drug culture of the slums of Rio. Hard hitting, typical foreign film. Shot brilliantly, too.
La Haine is the only other French film I've seen that you haven't named. It's OK but I didn't think it deserved the hype it got over here.

Has anyone seen Gozu? (One of the most recent Takashi Miike films)
It's awesome, but a little pointless/confusing

Trois Coleurs Trilogy - Krzysztof Kieslowski.
"Rouge", like most, is probably my favourite. I suppose it ties "Bleu" and "Blanc" together and the cinematography is gorgeous (as in all 3 really.)
Nuovo Cinema Paradiso - Giuseppe Tornatore.
I'm always touched by this film everytime I watch it. The ending is absolutely glorious.
Wings of Desire - Wim Wenders.
I'm disgusted that such a beautiful film could have spawned such a fucking terrible Hollywood remake. Both films are the antithesis of one another. In "Wings of Desire", Marion is a trapeze artist. In "City of Angels", Maggie is a fucking heart surgeon. So bloody typical.
Diva - Jean-Jaques Beineix.
The epitome of style, a crazy plot and a great fucking soundtrack.

Donnie Darko- A european movie, they opened it up in the states but then sent it straight to video cause it was to weird for people. It's an awesome movie, plays with your head.
A wonderful Life (I think thats the name) - An Italian movie, makes me cry all the time.
You already said Amelie, <3 that movie.

Old Boy – A quality Japanese film, but like all Japanese films it misses bits of the story out that you’d expect to be in an American film, which in my view just makes it even better. It’s all subtitled though.
If you haven’t seen British films look out for any of the following:
28 Days Later
Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels
Snatch
Layer Cake
Sliding Doors

I always prefer bleu over the other two, so much emotion by one of the most emotionless performances any actress could care to give.
Rouge's tidy ending, although being what Kieslowski wanted to show, that we're all interconnected, doesn't really sit well with me, although up until then the story was pleasant and a refreshing take on a traditional love story.
Still a worthy last project for the great

The Memory of a Killer (USA Title) it's a belgian film, it was nominated for an oscar i think and the director, Erik Van Looy now workz in Hollywood... they're making plans for a film with Keanu Reeves as protagonist.... so it can become a succes... but it's not even sure it'll go trough...

Slow down there, hoss. Oldboy is a South Korean film.
And what did it miss out, also?

Donnie Darko is definitely not a European film, like groovymatt said.
Old Boy is nice, even though it has been mentioned. I don't think it was missing anything.
I also like a Japanese film called Casshern. It is a live action film, which has some anime influences behind it. For instance there is speedlines sometimes when a character is fighting. I thought it looked quite stunning, plus the story is very good.
