here in Victoria Canada, it's 1.03 a litre, thats $3.91 a gallon Canadian$$ so $3.19 USD

You are right, it is in litres, but SportGuy gave a price in gallons, which would be UK gallons. So to get it back to US gallons, we divide by 4.5, then multiply by 3.8.

SportGuy also gave a price in pounds. There are 100 pence in every pound. Not very difficult to comprehend really.

The price of petrol in the UK, when given in litres, is usually 'pence per litre'.

Furthermore, I think a person such as SportGuy, who lives in the UK, would know how much petrol costs in the UK, don't you?

Mathematics clearly isn't your strongest subject, try avoiding it in future.

They also tend to have higher income tax rates and higher taxes on petrol. Please be aware of that.

MY LAST DATSUN WITH A 350CI V8 GOT ABOUT 18-20MPG AND THATS WITH FLOGGING THE CRAP OUT OF IT..... BUT ITS A REALLY LIGHT CAR SO IT TAKES LESS WORK TO GET IT MOVING.

1 Liter here in Montreal is 0.99$ Canadian (Bronze), do the conversions its about $3.76 Canadian/Gal, which in all is $3.00 US/Gal (Gas only)

Not sure how much diesel is now, havent filled up my Fortwo in a while. Plus I havent driven my car in a while either. I might drive tomorrow for the heck of it.

Im not gonna argue about all the UK/USA prices cause I dont care...I live in America (Vegas to be exact) and I think its too much (considering I drive all the time...love it)...

Over the weekend I drove to LA and put $25 in my tank before I left and got all the way there (I drove my lil honda civic so I got better mileage than my other cars would have)...but on the way back I put $25 in and had to stop to get gas...It was like 3.40 or something like that...

...I dont care how much it is in the UK, I dont like there...for America...thats pretty damn exspensive
