Can someone PLEASE help me? i really need to know if hair dye ruins your hair.

what colour is your hair and what colour are you planning to dye it?

my hair is like a medium brown and i want to dye it darker..maybe a reddish colour or even a darker brown but i think im going to go with the red-brown colour

Not if it's semi-permanent.
If you plan to use bleach/blonde hair dye, which is permanent, it will damadge your hair.

Then again so will any permanent hair colour.

so only if i bleach my hair will it ruin it??

If you dye it your hair will turn gray at a younger age and your hair tends to knott .

Ive Dyed my hair brown, Blonde and Bright red. It hasnt done any damage to mine.

Well, it's my opinion but I think that if you use any permanent dye that it will ruin your hair.

i have died my hair black, brown, blonde, and lots of outher colors and my hair is fine it just depends on what kind of hair die you get......you should get the die from a place that sells professional hair die
