Here is just a list of some simple tips/helpful links and information for people who aren't the best with computers and the Internet:
1. Windows Update (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/) is your friend.
2. Go to Start > Run > type in "msconfig" and go to the "Startup" tab to remove the programs you dont want. This can improve how fast your PC loads. I make sure EVERYTHING is unchecked, personally.

If anyone else has any newbie tips (Zmaster, Abusiveelusive, or whoever else) please private message me them.
