I have a .NET domain I dont want. If anyone wants it, just tell me. First come, first serve. :)
Just looking to get rid of it. Almost a full year left.
And... if someone gives me a good enough reason... I will buy them a domain of their choice.
:weirdluk: Do you live at the North Pole and have a big white beard, by any chance?

blah.
i'd have no use for a domain.
what would i host? my personal blog? or better yet, maybe i should start a teen website!
oh wait, i already have one(even though it gets a negligable amount of traffic). its on high quality free hosting with a non-domain domain.
i do have my happy little linux box that could use some action, but overall i would have no use for a domain. i've owned a couple in the past and its been a waste of my time.

Awh, that was rather nice of you. =)
What site do you register your domains Keith? How much do they charge?

eNom: $8.95 (With reseller account)
NameCheap: $8.88
GoDaddy: $8.95
I prefer NameCheap. Because its basically a reseller of eNom (The best registrar, in my opinion), and there is no minimun you need to fund your account with.
So yeah, basically I think NameCheap is the best to go with.

Do you actually own your domain's webspace. (I don't know how to put it technically) but do you have your own space/hosting/ftp/cgi bin and all that or do you just buy the names and host your stuff somewhere else?
(Sorry for asking so many questions - it's just something i'm interested in at the moment. I want my own domain but i'm struggling trying to come up with a witty name for it.)

I do have webspace. I do not buy hosting from the domain registrar. I buy the domain, then get webhosting, then get the nameservers from the hosting nameservers.
I am also a hosting reseller. So if you need some space, I may be able to help you out. :)

I bet he'll "help you out" Laura. Help you out of your clothes.
har har
Dotster is the best registrar in my opinion.

Aaron! Keep that dirty mind to yourself young man.
And i'm thinking about registering it at unitedhosting.co.uk. Is 200MB enough memory for a personal site (assuming it was just me - no hostees or anything like that)?

That should be enough, no doubt. Probably more than enough.
