Gap owns Old Navy, B.R, AND HOT TOPIC. It doesn't matter that they are different. I think that Gap also owns Juicy Couture.

I like Abercrombie's style, but I think their prices are completely ridiculous; and you know why they price them that high? Not because they have to in order to make a profit (though, to be fair, the amount of shoplifting may play a small role) but because they know people will still buy them. We were talking about it in Consumer's Ed- if everyone boycotted Abercrombie, or any other store/brand for a few weeks or months, they would be forced to lower their prices or go under. But, since teenagers (since that's the majority of who shops there) would never be organized enough to pull off something like that, I guess prices will just stay high, and people will continue to waste their money paying for it.

Personally, I like Aeropostale, but only if I can get stuff on sale; normal prices are still too high in my opinion, but their sale prices can be pretty good. Plus, I like their styles; I have like 3 hoodies from there.

(And, side note. . I like Hot Topic's Care Bear stuff, lol. My little sister's afraid to go in the store, though I told her the majority of the employees are perfectly nice)

I shop at the Abercrombie and Fitch Outlet in our local Outlet mall. It's nowhere near as expensive as the actual store, which is the only reason why I buy it.

Though I don't particularly agree with the image the company presents in it's advertisements...(how can naked men advertise for a clothing company?) I'd have to say, some of their merchandise is very nice.

i recently went all the way to USA for the great shopping as we dont have abercrombie and stuff here. i was dispointed that the A&F clothes didnt go into bigger sizes!!very annoying. the prices were reasonable compared to here 70$ is good for a sweater. Aeropostale and American Eagle are the best though. Now everyone here is wearing A&F that they have bought over the internet and we all look like clones!!!

I have clothes from abercrombie, hot topic, aeropostale, and even good will. I dont see the point in buying all your clothes at one store, there'd be too many similar styles in one wardrobe for my taste

Im sure most of you would label them as "goths/freaks". Well I know them very well and it turns out some of them just like that look. I wear abrocrombie. Why? Because I like the style of SOME of their clothes. But if any of you saw me walking down the street, you'd probably assume that I was rich and preppy.

It is not okay to judge someone because they are obsessed with clothing, but then again, it is also not okay to judge someone because they hate clothing.

I dont see how buying a $28 cotton shirt in Hot Topic with "NIRVANA" printed on it, is any better than buying a $40 dollar polo (which is indeed,way better quality) with a moose on it. It is practicly all the exact same shit.

Dont blame advertising, it's art. Photography is art, photography is advertising. I do admit that some advertising has absolutely nothing to do with the product being advertised. But if it's what sells the product, what the fuck else are they supposed to do.

The 1st person who started this whole thing obviously knew that a big deal was going to be made out of this. And I would say why are you in a fashion forum if you dont pay more than 15 dollars for a shirt? But then again, fashion isnt about luxurious and expensive clothing, its simply about making yourself beautiful with what you have or what you can afford.
