I have kind of long hair so my bangs go down to my eyes, and you can't tell by looking but I seem to have a bit of acne on my forehead. How would I go about getting rid of it?

Use proactive or another acne treatment.. or try a wal-mart employee or dermatologist to a special one just for your forehead.. and remember, you dont have to spend big money for good results.. :wink:

Actually, you do have to spend money to get good results ;)! Going to the derm is the only thing that cleared my skin up.. it is different for everyone.

Perhaps the oil from your hair is flaring it up.

I had reaaaaaaaal bad acne a few years back, I didn't use anything other than soap and it's all cleared up fine.

I had the same thing, it got bad whilst I was growing my hair longer, 3 nightmare months but it seems to be clearing up now, I was close to going to a derm but i just made sure I did everything right and kept it clear and it seems to be getting better which i'm so thankful for

Make sure you don't wear anything round your forehead, like a sweatband or a hat if you can help it. I had a fencing mask with a built in sweatband right above my eyes.... the resulting spots took months to go away, eccccch....

exactly. the oils fom your hair are on your forehead all day and they irritate your skin. especiall if you use gel/hairspray or something, wearing your hair on your forehead can cause bad acne. it will clog your pores very fast if you use gel and stuff.

try parting your hair or something. i'm a guy so i dont do much wih my hair, but when it hangs across my forehead i can get acne as well just like you.

I'm a guy and had that problem but now i've grown it longer how can I avoid it getting in my face without being a girl!

It's probably from your hair like other people have said, make sure to wash your hair well and get all of it. Other than that, treating acne on your forehead is the same as any other part of your face, make sure to use a cleanser and toner twice a day.

Go to the doctor and get a special prescribed one. They work so much better then shop bought ones. Best thing I ever did.
