I have split ends really bad...and my hair breaks off mostly because I use a straightener what can I do to get rid of the split ends I've tried lots of stuff but it doesn't work. HELP!

Tigereye204
03-14-2005, 04:49 PM
First of all, if you use a heated straightner it fries your hair. When your hair is wet blow dry it. Use a round brush to flip the ends up. Blow with cool air and spray it with hairspray. Have your hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks. It gets rid of split ends and helps your hair grow faster. Instead of using a heated straightner, use a straightning gel.

Is it possible for me to perform HIIT with my penis?

You shouldnt use straighting gel it makes your hair stiff and greasy you can still straighten your hair all you have to use is straighting syrum before everytime you straighten it and get it cut like you said every 6~8 weeks and you should be all set

Tigereye204
03-14-2005, 08:56 PM
Mike, I know your joking but I'll still answer. By cutting off your arm you would lose around 5+% of your body fat. It depends on how much body fat you had to begin with.

Tigereye204
03-14-2005, 09:02 PM
Straightening syrum isn't something I reccommend. It makes my hair really greasy! Straightening gel is fine if you comb it in. Then, it doesn't flake.

You dont get it though... my arms are fucking HUGE! They are both bigger than my waist. Im packing a pair of redwoods on my shoulders here. I weighed them once, it registered as 9.98x10 to the 23 power.... and this was in metric tons!

You do believe me right? I have pictures for proof.

Wow! That must really suck Mike. I'm tiny for the most part (all that exercise.) Laur3n, I know some exercises. Lie on your back.Place your hands on either side of you. Try putting them under your butt cuz this exercise hurts the first times! Put both of your toes together. Lift them into the air. Hold at different levels for 3 counts of 10. Bring down slowly. Repeat. This exercises your stomach, calves, thighs, and butt! It is a great exercise. For more exercise, you have permission to E-mail me.

It took me awhile to think of a question cause I felt like asking one, but I got one. How can I make my pores appear smaller?

Boko22
03-15-2005, 10:43 AM
ok.. i work out for an hour n' a half everyday after school. i usually run the tredmill for 30 min...do a bike for 25 min and then weight machines for the rest of the time. my legs are very toned and defined except for my inner thighs!!!!! what can help that area???

Tigereye204
03-15-2005, 02:55 PM
First, let me answer Oni's question. I just got home from school. Since your a guy, pores are enlarged when there is excess oil on your skin. The oil drips in and clogs your pores. This causes pimples, zits, blackheads, ect. I'm including inexpensive tips to make pimples go away and stay away. To reduce the ammount of oil on your face, add lemon juice with an equal ammount of water. Wash your face with the mixture. If a pimple is swelling follow this natural remedy. Put fresh parsley or dried parsley in an ice cube tray. Pour in a small ammount of water and freeze it. Use this frozen parsley cube to stop swelling. To dry up pimples overnight, add baking soda and enough water to make a paste. Apply the paste to your pores. It will dry them to the point that you can peel them off in the morning. If you need to get rid of it in a couple hours, dab antacid on the spot with a Q-tip. You can also use a soft deodorant to dry up your pores. To zap zits ASAP use hydrocortisone cream. You can find it at a grocery store in the skin infection area.

Boko. When you exercise you stretch many muscles. Inner thighs aren't exercised as often as the rest of your body. I'm going to give you two quick exercises you can do to tighten your inner thighs. The first is called Butterfly. Sit on the floor with your back straight. Spread your legs apart then bend your knees in. Push your toes together. Hold your toes with your hands and moven your legs up and down. It looks like a butterfly flying! The other one is easy. Sit on a chair or on the couch. Put your feet on the floor. Push your legs in and out. Go in until your knees touch. Then go out. You can even do this while you watch TV!

i have thick hair, you it takes me ages to wash out shampoo and conditioner, i spend ages doing it but i still end up with dandruff from it. what can i do to stop it ? help is appreciated

Tigereye204
03-15-2005, 06:59 PM
Browney cakes. This is normal. I used to have that problem because I have thick wavy hair. If you use products like gel or spray in conditioner that could be your problem. Products that don't get washed out completely cause product buildup which looks just like dandruff. I wet my hair, then massage my scalp with a tablespoon of salt. Do this before shampooing. Salt actually decomposes dandruff! Another way to get rid of dandruff is thyme. Boil two tablespoons of dried thyme in a cup of water. Make sure it is cool, then strain it to remove the thyme flakes. After it has been cooled and strained pour it on your scalp. Do not rinse it out! You don't have to worry about shampooing or conditioning because thyme actually has antiseptic (cleansing) properties. Sometimes conditioners have greasy content. You might want to stop using conditioner except on the ends of the hair. NEVER put conditioner on your scalp! It causes buildup similar to dandruff. Hope it works as well for you as it does for me!!!

So are you able to tell me how to put eye liner on...???

Tigereye204
03-15-2005, 08:02 PM
Eyeliner can be tricky. I'm going to go over the steps to apply it with you.

1. Dust powder on your lids if you don't have eye shadow on yet.
2. If your going to curl your lashes do it now.
3. For a clean straight line use a cake or liquid liner.
4. For a soft line use an eyeliner pencil.
5. Rest your elbow on a hard surface to steady your hand.
6. Start in the middle of the eyelid and draw as close to the lid as possible.
7. Draw to the outer end of the eye with a slightly upward turn at the end.

***For smoky eyes apply eye shadow on your lid in the same color as the liner.

Baby_Cakes_14
03-15-2005, 08:03 PM
How do you put the eye liner on the bottom

Baby_Cakes_14
03-15-2005, 08:04 PM
Like do i have to pull the skin down and out it right against the eye ball

Tigereye204
03-15-2005, 08:13 PM
You do the same as the top lining. The trend right now is instead of pulling the lid down and lining the lid you line underneath it. It looks really cool and gives a sexy smudged look when you dip a Q-tip in Vaseline then go over the liner with it. It smears really well and gets shiny.

i use concealer under my eyes to get rid of dark circles but when i put it on my eyes still look dark then if i put more on my eyes look too white. The concealer i use is one of them that looks like lipstick. PLEASE HELP.

Tigereye204
03-16-2005, 04:08 PM
goldigga_92 I suggest you not use concealer when your eyes have dark circles. Instead, try this remedy.

1. Apply sliced potatoes under the eye.
2. Lie down for 5 minutes so the juices seep in.
3. Get a gel Vitamin K capsule.
4. Using a safety pin, pop the gel capsule.
5. Remove the goo inside the capsule.
6. Take the goo and rub it into the darkened area.
7. Pat face dry.
8. Mix bright blue eye shadow in with facial moisturizer.
9. Apply the mixture to remove any remaining darkness.

My friend Erika says it works for her. I hope it will work just as well for you!!!

Tigereye204

It has to do with fashion so I'll answer. You can buy them online at http://store.shopbop.com/category.jspcategory=LAMB&promo=o_LAMB&gtse=servicedotcom&gtkw=l%2Ea%2Em%2Eb%20purse. This is an entire line of her products. Another website

i have long bangs that cover my eyes &, when stretched out, graze the tip of my nose. people complain that you can only see half of my face because they're so long & apparently my eyes are my best feaure. i like my bangs long, but sometimes they are annoying. any ideas with what i could do with them? people have suggested shorter & thicker but i haven't really thought about it yet.

BabyCakes, try putting small braids throughout your hair. Have different color elastics at the end of each braid. You can also comb in glitter or use colored hairspray on the ends of your hair. After you have sprayed the ends of your hair put your hair in a ponytail. Get a clip and hold the ponytail upside down. Clip it. Let one strip of hair hang in the front. Spray this piece of hair completely with the hairspray. You'll look very punk rocker.

Whitish blonde- purple spray
Blonde - blue spray
Brunnete- hot pink spray
Dark Brunette- red or green spray
Red- orange, gold, or silver spray

OniChris

Actually, neither one was the same question. The 2nd one designated a paticular body part therefore I was wondering if there was a different method and the third time I wasnt talking about swelling or anything, I'm talking about after it's already gone but it's still red where the pimple was.

lilly_dannysgirl, I know a lot of styles. Try putting you hair in a bun with chopsticks through it. It is quick, easy, and cute. Her's some more:

Pantene Smooth & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum, $6, drugstores
Rub a dime-sized amount of serum between your palms, then smooth it evenly throughout damp hair before styling.

1. Divide your hair into a top half and a bottom half.
2. Pull the top half into a high half-ponytail and secure it with an elastic.
3. Divide your ponytail into four equal-sized sections, and twist each section into a loose, messy bun with the ends hanging down. Secure each bun with three or four bobby pins.

1. Create a center part. Create a second part from ear to ear going across the center of the top of your head.
2. Braid the front left section of hair until it's roughly chin-length, then secure it with and elastic.
3. Create an identical braid in the right section of hair and secure it with an elastic.
4. Loop the two braids over each other in a knot and let the ends hang loose.

1. Divide your hair into a top half and a bottom half.
2. Pull the top half into a tight, high ponytail above your left ear and secure it with an elastic. Pull the bottom half into a tight, low ponytail behind your left ear and secure it with an elastic.
3. Take a one-inch piece of hair from the top ponytail and braid it two-thirds of the way down. Secure the braid with a tiny elastic.
4. Wrap the braid around the elastic of the high ponytail to cover it. When you reach the end of the braid, secure it with a bobby pin and let the unbraided ends hang down loose.
5. Take a small piece of hair from the bottom ponytail and wrap it around the ponytail elastic to cover it. Secure it underneath with a bobby pin.

Thanks a lot. Do you know anything about self tanning lotion? I have some and when I put it on it sometimes gets lines and stuff but most of them wash off. Is there a way of preventing it? **** If it washes off it means the pigment in the lotion isn't as strong. Try using a gel. It will stay around 2 weeks after it has dried.

I also have another question. My skin is really dry. I get these dry spots on my arms that itch and my legs get really dry and peel. Lotion doesnt really help much. Is there any way to permanently stop this from happening. My skin is also flaky underneath my eyebrows.****This can happen when skin lacks moisture obviously. Drink at least 2 full water bottles a day. This plumps skin with moisture. Exfoliate twice a week to remove dead skin cells. Use a moisturizer, toner, and mud mask at least once a week. Use a hydrating spray twice a day. Do this and you'll have silky smooth skin!!!

how do u kno all this stuff???****Lots and lots or reading and experimenting.

I have hazel eyes and dark brown straight hair and fair skin but not pale ,. so what color clothes and make-up would look good on me??

Clothing colors are peach, mohogany, plum, hunter green, and other earth tones. Makeup wise, natural is the key. Try a green eye shadow with brown liner or brown eyeshadow with kohl liner. Lip wise, do a nude gloss 1 shade darker than usual.

I have really thin hair, i have for all my life. I have always had to have short hair, because if i grow it, it either starts falling out or it looks too thin and really bad. I have tried numerous things, washing with egg yolk, coconut oil and milk, i always use herbal shampoos and conditioners and i eat pretty healthy. Is there anything i can do to make my hair thicker? ****Egg yolk is for shine, coconut milk is for softness. I don't think I know of any hair thickening recipes. I have noticed that the fatter I get, the thicker my hair gets (weird.) Try curling your hair. It makes it look fuller.

and
2. do you know where u can get dooney&bourke bags and how much they are? i'd prefer under $50 but i odnt think thats gonna happen...so any one is good...****Diets are different for everyone. Weight loss is a combination of dieting, exercise, and will power. To answer your second question, shopping is my expertise!!!! I found 2 bags for $45. http://www.nextag.com/Dooney_Burke_Dooney_Bourke~63821576z27znz2700200zz 1z2700200zdooney_bourke_bagzmainz2-htm. Hey, ok my hair used to be really long, but then i cut it like a lot and it doesn't grow that fast but yea, my hair is always staticy and kinda frizzy, i don't know what to do, i want it to be shiny and soft and a tried a whole bunch of different shampoos and conditioners and spray stuff that's suposed to make ur hair shiny, but nothing really helps me, my hair is naturally a little bit curly like on the bottom and when i straightn it, it just makes it more staticy, what should i do to make my hair shiny and soft?

****I'd try wearing dark greens and purples. These colors accentuate your skin and hair. I don't know the consistancy of your hair so I don't know how a perm would look on you. Keep in mind there are many types of perms.

****To get rid of static get some pantyhose. Use a round brush and poke it through the fabric of the hose. Comb your hair with that. You can also spray static guard on your hair. To get shiny hair add the yolk of one egg to one tablespoon of shampoo. Apply it to your hair. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with hot water then cold. To make your hair soft add 1 tbs. of olive oil to your conditioner. Apply it to the ends of your hair. Rinse.

Tigereye204
04-02-2005, 04:33 PM
More psychology than beauty, but ok. We females obcess over our weight because we our insecure. We all have body image issues. It starts with our parents lecturing us on healthy eating. It is further pushed by the media. We females judge everyone, so we get scared that people will say we're fat. It doesn't help either when guys jokingly say we are fat.

ok i have a question, how do you make your hair wavy with your straightners??
ive heard a few ways how to do it ie with tinfoil, but i want to know what you think is the best way.
oh and i dnt want to buy curling tongs i already have them and i have wave plates but they dont give enough definition!!!

Tigereye204
04-02-2005, 06:39 PM
I haven't heard of how to use a straightener to wave, but I can teach you an easy way. Wash your hair at night. Grab straws and gel. Take a strip of hair and cover it with gel. Wrap it around a straw. When your entire head is done cover it and go to sleep. In the morning remove the straws and comb to desired wave/thickness.

Do you have any tips on waxing eyebrows/upper lip at home with cold wax? my eyebrows are so ugly and i want them nicely done but when i pluck them it dosnt really make a difference and my mom wont let me hot wax them

the only thing i do is cold wax but i need some tips

Tigereye204
04-02-2005, 08:28 PM
I get my eyebrows waxed so here it goes...
1. Apply rubbing alcohol to the area to be waxed. It will sterilize the space.
2. Use an eyebrow comb to brush the hair upward. It makes it easier to see stray hairs.
3. Apply the wax.
4. Push the fabric on top of it.
5. Grap the end and...RIP!!!
6. It will burn.
7. Do this a couple times then pluck any remaining hairs.
8. Put some lotion over the waxed area or use aftershave to prevent redness.

If you decide not to do this I recommend you get a touch hair remover. It doesn't hurt at all!!!

Ok, I know this is Tiger's thread, but there is another way. I did it myself and one of my friends who has totally different hair than me did too. It worked on both of us so it should work on you too.

1. Dampen your hair or wait until you've just washed it
2. Using two fingers, coil strands of your wet hair into little buns/coils pin them using bobby pins.
3. Spray with hairspray (optional) I have hair that refuses to curl so I had to use a ton of hairspray
4. Sleep on it.
5. In the morning take out your bobby pins and run through it with your fingers.
6. Spray more hairspray if needed

You do know having products in your hair such as hair spray, mouse, and gel are bad for you hair. Sleeping in them is very bad, especially if you go to school and still wear your hair like that all day still with tons of products in it. Try sleeping with your hair clean, simple, with nothing in it. It makes it softer, smoother and more healthy.

hey..
alright first off i have acne, and i've just started using st. ives. apricot scrub or something like that, and i think on the other page you said that was bad for acne? hm welp what do you think i should use...also, i have naturally curly hair but it's long so when i wear it curly it gets really huge and poofy and looks bad, so normally i straighten it but it takes FOREVER, i've gone through like 3 straighteners in the past year and none of em seem to work too well, right now i have a ceramic black revlon one...and good ones you know of? or any like gels or whatever that would help make my hair straight?...and another thing is when i blow dry my hair it gets sooo frizzy...haha thanks so much...

Welcome back Tigereye204!
I have quite long brown hair which gets 'fly away' bits on top. I was wondering if you know of any products that will get rid of the frizzyness, but also keep my hair wavy?

funsize your natural color suited to you is a silver or a pale blue. This is assuming you have pale skin.

purple, you have wavy hair which means you also have frizzy hair. Try using a small drop of lotion. Work it through your hair concentrating on the ends. It will keep the wave and down the frizz. If you want to target it directly try ThermaSilk Curl Defining Conditioner.

I know it's colored contacts! Blue or silver contacts I meant. For tanned skin try green, hazel, or purple eyes.

Put both of your toes together. Lift them into the air. Hold at different levels for 3 counts of 10. Bring down slowly. Repeat. This exercises your stomach, calves, thighs, and butt! It is a great exercise. For more exercise, you have permission to E-mail me.

Do those tanning lotions really work you know the ones that you just rub all over your skin. Do they really work. i was just wondering i usually go to the tanning salon but it would save me a lot of money if those really work. If they do really work what is the best kind to buy.
