Episode 2 (Episode 1 is where they narrowed it down to the above 14 models):

On Wednesday night, 03/09/05, the girls had their first photo shoot. They are now residing in Los Angeles, California because that is where Tyra Banks got her start. They met up with Nigel, Nole, and Janice to get their makeup, hair and wardrobe done. Each of them were going along with the theme of 'alien' invading the city. The models posed next to, on, beside, etc a police car.

This episode also consisted of the makeovers. There have been some drastic changes to some of the models in the above pictures, and those will be posted sometime later today. For example, Michelle is now a bleached blonde.

Unfortunately, one of the girls had to be cut. It came down to Brandy and Brita in the bottom two. This evening, everyone had to say goodbye to...












Brita. Her journey ends here.

So, which model is your favourite right now, based on the current events?

Thank you for starting this thread! ANTM is one of my favorite shows. I dont really have a favorite so far.I think Tatiana is really pretty though. I dont like the wrestler girl from Arkansas or wherever, Michelle, and I think the platinum air is just odd on her. I think they made a BIG mistake at the last elimination. Brita is gorgeous.

I agree on Brita. They should've gotten rid of Michelle or something.

Last season, Amanda went platinum, and she was hot. This just doesn't work for Michelle. BLEH.

i liked Brita, but my favourites are Michelle and Naima, because they have different looks they're not your typical supermodel like Rebecca or Kahlen. i HATE Brandy she acts like a child and is hideously ugly

Episode 3

We start this episode by already receiving a Tyra Mail. The girls have to go see Ms. Jay (who is dressed as a cheerleader with pigtails and pom poms) to practice walking in a straight line. They are taken to a football arena where they are asked to change shoes from their stylish stilettos to cloggish black shoes. The grass in the morning is wet and slippery...Ms. Jay tells them it isn't easy to walk on grass. Most of the girls do pretty well, except Sarah. She's pretty stiff and doesn't have the walk right.

After practicing the walks (using the lines on the football field for guidance), Ms. Jay tells the girls that there are 13 pairs of shoes hiding in the stadium and they have to find them. They run off and come across them at the top of the stadium. He then gives them 'accessories' which consist of footballs, helmets, hockey sticks, and such. They have to walk down the stairs, in the high heels, showing off this product and making everything look great. Some trip up, Brittany manages to look slutty, etc. When they are all done, Ms. Jay cheers and the practice day is over.

They receive another Tyra Mail hinting at aisles and products. When they pile into the van, they pull up in front of K-Mart. Some of them are pissy at being there, others feel right at home. In this competition, they are paired up with one another to duel it out by walking the model walk, dressed in K-Mart clothes, and holding another product that K-Mart offers. For example, Brandy holds a frying pan. In the end, Naima and Rebecca are the last two that made it through the eliminations. Everyone else watches from the sidelines. After strutting their stuff, Rebecca is declared the winner. She gets to choose 5 friends to go with her to meet a shoe designer. The other girls have to 'service' them.

They arrive at a high class shoe store, Stuart Weitzman, and meet with the designer. He tells the five girls, and Rebecca, that they each get to choose a pair of shoes for themselves. The other girls have to go into the stock room and find their sizes. Michelle has a breakdown because the shelves that hold the shoes are controlled by cranks. They then smash into one another. Michelle fears that she might get stuck between some of the mobile shoe stacks. She recovers from her tears and meltdown quickly once she goes back down to the girls with their pairs of shoes.

The girls that have to service the other girls are not impressed with Rebecca's attitude. Rebecca says she doesn't care. "I'm not here to feed [their] egos. I'm here for me."

That evening, another Tyra mail is received. It says something about having to put up with 10 other bitches. The girls start to speculate, thinking last season's models will be back to compete with them. Strangely, Michelle is in the other room hemming pants and crying silently. Noelle decides to talk to her. It is discovered that Michelle has been hiding a secret. She's hidden it because she fears what the other girls will think of her. Michelle admits that she is bisexual. The girls take it pretty well, wondering why she was so worried about admitting it in the first place.

The next day, they all come together at a park that Tyra used to frequent with her boyfriends. They discover that the 10 bitches are actually 10 dogs. They will be posing with 10 dogs, flowers, a flower cart, and a hot male model. Not much else to say here.

On elimination night, they are put to the test once again. They are given burlap potato sacks and are asked to make it look like a $20,000 dress by the way they walk. Tiffany walks down the stairs slowly. Keenyah trips but keeps on moving. Sarah walks stiffly and bobs her head like a chicken. Etc. Etc.

The girls then change back into their clothes and come back to look at their pictures from their photo shoots. When Rebecca comes forward, the judges begin to critique her picture, telling her that it's really nice. All of a sudden, her eyes roll up to the ceiling and she falls backwards...and hits the floor with a slam. (http://wwwimage.upn.com/shows/top_model4/show/ep03/photos/ep03_20.jpg) She has pre-existing condition that causes her to collapse. The girls freak out, and they call the paramedics. Rebecca is rushed away and the critiquing continues. Later on, Rebecca is released from the hospital, saying she has had this condition all of her life. She says it isn't life threatening, but it is a major inconvenience. During the elimination, Rebecca continues on...she is not eliminated!

In the end, Brittany and Sarah are in the bottom two. Brittany is told that her sexuality is "a little triple-X for the fashion industry." Sarah is doesn't seem to believe in her 'loveliness.' Tyra takes the last picture and holds it forward...








Sarah is eliminated and Brittany moves on in the competition.

I don't really like how she looks. At least, she hasn't blown me away in any of her pictures yet. :shrug:

apparently, this week, the judges are gonna tell someone that they have the worst picture in the history of America's Next Top Model Oh yes I heard about that, they are doing Astrological symbols I bet the photos are going to kick ass, well besides the worst photo in ANTM history. **spoiler** I put it in white so highlight it if you want to see it.*** Lol well we probably all know that whoever is in the bottom two and the person with the worst photo in the bottom probably won't be going home, becuase the ANTM people love suspense and they always pull a trick on you.Anyway I think it might be Rebecca or Noelle...possibly Brandy.

Episode 4


Tonight's episode started off with the girls heading to a ballet lesson. They were taught how to stand gracefully, move with ease, etc. Naima's past ballet lessons showed through, according to the old man with the cane that taught them. It was kind of funny watching this little man walk around, his belly protuding, telling them how to be graceful. Haha.

They are all brought to dinner in a very nice restaurant. Tiffany states that she no longer drinks alcohol, but drinks some wine...four glasses of it. This results in her vomiting all over the floor (which we see, unfortunately...gooey on the ground) and feeling bad about herself. She fears that she's slipping back into the old Tiffany.

The next day, the girls are taken to, surprisingly, a tennis court. There, they meet a photographer they have never met before. None of the girls are impressed with him. He's very mean and picks on every little problem. They were made to dress up in tennis skirts and polos, hold a racket, and hit the ball...gracefully. Tiffany got a bit angry with him. Kahlen cried afterwards. The girls did not like him at all. Brandy lashes out at Tatiana for making a silly comment, showing that she is having trouble keeping her attitude under control. After they were done, they discovered that Jay was watching them on a hidden camera to watch their attitudes and how they handled themselves in stressful situations. The man was actually a kind person that was told to act harsh, as some photographers in the modeling world are. He then chose Naima as the best person that held her composure and showed off graceful moves. She was asked to choose two friends to come with her to dinner to meet a special guest. The special guest turns out to be Serena Williams, pro tennis player. She brings a tennis racket (and case) with her signature on it for Naima as a prize. Serena also dabbles in fashion creation (she wears her own design this evening), and says she can give the girls tips. She watches them do their walks and comments on them. After a wonderful night, the next day comes.

This time the girls are taken to a photography studio where they are told they are going to be dressing up as the astrology signs...since there are twelve of them. Not only are they going to be wearing lingerie, loads of makeup, holding props, etc...this is going to be a calendar AND they are going to be harnessed and lifted into the air to make it seem more 'heavenly.' Brandy, once again, gets very pissy because she has to be near to the last one to go, even though her makeup was done first. The girls do a pretty good job. Keenyah looks absolutely beautiful as a bull (Taurus), and Tiffany is able to pull off a certain sexyness as a crab (Cancer).

The time comes for them to be judged. They find out that the pictures that were being taken on the tennis courts are actually going to be judged as well. They were to show how the girls look in odd situations...if they still seem like models. Keenyah, once again, looks gorgeous...even as a natural tennis player. At the same time, they pull up the astrology photographs. Brittany FINALLY manages to look like a model, not a XXX **** star. Rebecca doesn't really pull it off too well as a Virgo. Lluvy looks like a dead fish as a Pisces. Brandy looks pissed off in her picture, as usual.

The judges talk to one another in private, and then the girls are called one by one by Tyra's soothing voice. The last two to not have their names called are Lluvy and Brandy. Tyra says the one of them has great potential, but her attitude just isn't right (Brandy). She then tells Lluvy that her astrology picture was the worst picture in the history of America's Next Top Model. Wow, thanks Tyra! She flutters her eyelashes and pulls the picture out...




















Lluvy's photo is the one in her hands. Brandy is sent home. Attitude really does mean a lot in this competition.

Tyra had no idea what she talking about this episode...Brandy's photo was GOOD!!! She just has attitude problems...I so don't understad why they cut Brandy this early...I mean I didn't want her to win or anything but I at least wanted her to stay for as long as she deserved it. Brandy definitely deserved to for another week going by photos. As for LLuvy's pic being the worst in America's Next Top Model History that's a BIG FAT LIE. I've seen far worse pictures than Lluvy's I think the bottom two was so wrong tonight..and when Tiffany cried becuase her "little sister" was leaving it was just so sad. Anyway I'm still rooting for Tiffany loved her photo..hated those stupid crab hands that they gave her...some designers they are, but she worked them! Go Tiffany!! :partytime :clap:

The Tennis photoshoot was so hillarious. The man cracked me up.

im glad that brandy is gone, whoever said that she doesnt have an attitude problem is wrong. she was very immature and started stupid fights for no reason at all. plus i thought she was hideous. i want Naima to win, i think she has a new and different look

Just checking on the thread making sure it stays alive ^^" I'm a big fan of ANTM anyway my top 5 people I want to win are 1.Keenyah 2.Naima 3.Tiffany 4.Kahlen 5.Noelle/Rebecca kind of torn between the two.

12.LLuvy- Erm just a little weird mostly the make-up artist's fault but still...weird.

10.Naima- NAIMA I love ya but her face looks kind of timid and it doesn't show off anything like her bone structure or a good facial feature, it's just not working.

12. Lluvy - She looks like a dead person. She has no expression at all.

11. Brandy - I don't really think she's modelish at all. Her anger shows through in her pictures, and it makes it less appealing to the eye.

10. Naima - Her picture just wasn't powerful and unique enough this time. She just looks like any other model. She's very exotic, and this time, it didn't come through.

9. Noelle - She looks like a dog or something. Her nose flares and she looks uneven.

8. Rebecca - She's gorgeous...but this photo isn't anything special. She looks kind of blank. The makeup says more than her expression does.

7. Tiffany - She was almost there, but she's missing something. I don't know what, but it hasn't shown up yet.

6. Tatiana - I thought the effect was cool. She needs to be a little more intense.

5. Christina - I think it's a pretty good photograph, but I miss her 'psycho' eyes. I think it adds to her uniqueness. Soften it a little, but not so much that it doesn't look like you anymore.

4. Kahlen - Whoever did the lighting kind of messed up. Her face disappears a little. If the lighting were better, she might have gotten a lower number (meaning, better picture).

3. Brittany - She looked modelicious. Finally, not a slutty picture. I hope she can keep it going. She's very pretty. I thought something was wrong with her eye, but it's how they did the eyeliner.

2. Michelle - Not only was her face pretty, but the entire shot is incredibly cool. I would print it and frame it in my room. It's awesome.

1. Keenyah - Fierce, sexy, sultry...just an excellent shot overall. I was really impressed. Her jawline normally bothers me, but she looks absolutely stunning in this picture. Not just her face, but everything.

At first I didnt like Michelle. I dont think she is that pretty in person but she takes beautiful pictures. I am so glad that Brandy went home. She had a terrible attitude and she wasnt that pretty. Ew, I bet it would be so gross...it didn't look right on the preview. Tyra's reaction was pretty obvious she definitely thought it was icky. Anyway I really don't like Michelle my first impression of her was someone in drag (even before she announced to the ANTM viwers that she was bi), but lately she's been taking good pictures. Does anyone think that if Michelle tells Tyra she's bi she might be gone pretty quickly after that?

I doubt Tyra will kick off Michelle simply because she's bi. There have been at least 2 bi people and one gay person on ANTM.

My reaction to Brandy leaving left me stunned. They had been bad mouthing Lluvy the whole time. I was shocked. However, I became overjoyed, as I did with Camille last season. These bad attitudes are just NOT appealing.

thats your opinion, but i dont think that being gay or bi will affect it at all. and i dont think that you should pretend that you know everything that is going to happen on the show. i think the only way that being bi is going to affect Michelles chances are if things start to get weird with her and the other girls and they start fights. or if Tyra is agains being bi or gay which i dont think she is.

Michelle may go home tonight, but if she did, it would be based on a bad picture or health reasons, not simply because she is bisexual

tonights episode: a flesh eating disease!!!!! michelles face was a little scary ...........but i don't know what to watch tonight, because there is a new episode of LOST, where sawyer has bad, bad headaches, and well, sawyer is the best. :D

**Spoiler: If you haven't watched it yet, do not read any further.

Episode 5

The episode starts and we see Michelle's sores first coming up. Blah blah. So, they are all taken to a place called Make-Up Designory. An old man walks in and he is very boring. He talks about how to apply makeup and such. He tells them that this is going to be a three hour class. All of a sudden, you hear Mr. Jay's voice. The old man was Mr. Jay! He talks to them about how they are going to use Covergirl Cosmetics to make themselves up, yet still maintain a naturalness. The girls are paired up with one another and they have to apply the makeup on each other's faces. Both Lluvy and Tiffany are with Michelle (since it was an uneven number to begin with). Michelle has trouble because she has these spots on her face that look infected. Mr. Jay looks at all of them and tells them what's wrong and what's right about their makeup application. He really likes how Lluvy's makeup was done (which was done by Tiffany).

On the way back to the house, Michelle says in the private interview that she feels like shit and that she doesn't match up to the other girls. And then she has these things on her face, which the girls are starting to freak out about. When they get back, they each get a chance to talk to Tyra about their problems. Michelle doesn't tell her that she's bisexual. Instead, she talks about the facial lesions that are popping up. Tyra is concerned about them as well, and tells her to go to a dermatologist as soon as possible.

At 7 AM the next morning, thye leave to go to The Salon at Beverly Hills. Mr. Jay meets them and tells them that this time they aren't going all natural. Instead, they have to apply their makeup in the au couture (?) style. He tells them that it is fierce and creative...not natural. There are five stations of makeup. They get 45 seconds at each station. The winner of this gets to visit a designer, who will have something custom made by that designer. The winner is Naima for her creativeness and she chooses Lluvy and Christina to accompany her. They are taken to see Lauren Scherr in her store. She creates handbags. The girls get to walk around and tell her exactly what they want their handbags to look like. No one else will have these designs, ever.

Back at the house, Noelle gets on the phone with here mom. She tells her mom that one of the girls in the house (Michelle) has some weird flesh eating bacteria thing. Her mom freaks out and tells her that it's been on the news. She says it is not able to be cured by antibiotics and you can die from it. This sends the girls into a panic.

The next day (after receiving Tyra Mail), they show up at miahaus, which is a studio in which they are going to do a photo shoot. Mr. Jay is there and tells them that in this shoot, they will be wearing mustaches.

Huh?

Milk mustaches. Haha. They are doing the shoot for Got Milk?. However, it's with a twist. The girls will have their ethnicities switched and they have to hold a three year old child in their arms. The child that they hold will match the ethnicity that they are made up to be. The makeup artist and hair artist are concerned about Michelle's condition, so they send her out to go to the doctor. She finds out that she has impetigo (skin infection that is generally caused by one of two bacteria, Group A streptococcus or Staphylococcus aureus) and that it is contagious. She can, however, clear it up with creams and medications. It wasn't the frightening bacteria that was going around killing people.

Back at the photoshoot, the girls pose as their new ethnicities:

Since Michelle's impetigo is contagious (one can spread impetigo from one area of the body to another when they touch themselves with fingers that have been in contact with scratched, infected skin...as well as to others they touch), they give her a baby doll to work with. The other girls are very upset because they had to work with a real child. The real children were squirmy and were very heavy after holding them on one hip for a long amount of time. They said it wasn't fair that she just got an inanimate doll to hold.

After the photo shoot, back at home, they receive Tyra Mail telling them that only 10 girls will continue. Michelle is worried that she will be kicked off for her now treatable skin condition. Lluvy hopes that she's not in the bottom two again, or else she will freak out.

At the eliminiation round, Tyra once again tells them what the final prize is. She introduces the judges: Janice Dickenson, Nigel, Nole, and Jim Deyonker (producer of the photo shoots from today's episode). The girls are given a challenge. They will have three minutes to apply fierce nighttime makeup with NO brushes, NO applicators...and NO MIRRORS! In the end, they all look pretty terrible. Brittany's makeup is compared to her playing with a crayon, while some of the others barely used any at all.

The judges deliberate, and Tyra stands before them, with only 10 pictures in her hands. The names were called as follows...

Im pretty sure Lluvy or Michelle will go home next week. Lluvy is pretty in her own way, but is sometimes not very pretty at all. And Michelle is just not pretty, even if she didnt have the skin thing going on I still dont think she would be very pretty. And to comment about what yall were saying about someone gay or bi not winning, Yes Im sure Tyra does look for a good role model, but Adrienne(winner of the first ANTM) would act crazy and make lesbian-ish (sorry couldnt think of a word) comments all the time. She definatly was not a good role model but she won. So I dont think it really makes a difference to Tyra whether they are gay, bi, or just a very sexual person. Them being a good model is what really counts.

Episode 6


The show begins with the girls talking to Michelle about her problem with impetigo. She tells them that she's thrilled that her facial lesions are going away thanks to the treatment. They joke with her, saying she can now rub her face on their pillows again.

Tyra Mail is received. It says, "Top Models need to have good figures. How bankable are you?"

The girls are taken to a building where once inside, a man greets them. He hands all of them contracts, saying there isn't much time so sign them as soon as possible so they could continue on with their task. Many of the girls look very unsure and ask questions as to what this contract really means. There is a lot of wording and a few pages. None of them have time to read the entire thing. Eventually, they all sign their individual contracts. They are brought to another room and seated. A big leather executive chair is turned around in front of them. It spins and Tyra is seated there. She introduces them to her company, "Bankable Productions." That is where they have been this whole time. She also introduces her mother, Carolyn London. The man that gave them the contracts was actually her father, Don Banks. The girls find out that the contracts they signed gave him, basically, their souls. A lawyer greets them and tells them that all of the contracts have a null and void statement at the end, but not until Tyra says the contract states that the girls have to jump five times everytime someone says, "model." The girls jump, since it was written in the contract, and laugh with one another. Tyra continues to talk to them about the importance of having a good head on your shoulders and paying special attention to the business world. She states that any agency that asks for money up front is a scam. She leaves them with the parting words of, "Don't Sign Nothin'!"

Back at the house, the girls decide to go out and have dinner/fun for the evening. Once they arrive at the place they will be eating (where they had to remove their shoes and sit on pillows), drinks start to come out...alcoholic drinks. Brittany starts to drink a lot and starts to offend some of the other girls, mainly Rebecca and Kahlen. Most of the girls agreed that Brittany had way too much to drink, and gets out of control. She even goes as far as clearing off the table and dancing all over the place. Kahlen is displeased, as she says that how one model on the show is represented could harm the other girls' reputations. After they party, back in the van (on the way home), Brittany moons people in passing cars. Again she is criticized for being too wild and crazy when she drinks.

In the morning, it shows Brittany sleeping in her bed, messy and snoring. When she wakes up, she looks like crap. Christina tells her she's funnier when she's drunk.

Another Tyra Mail has arrived. It says, "Workin' Hard Each and Every Day. Now it's time to party! Be ready at 2:15." They all get snazzed up in black dresses, all of them are different. When they arrive at said place, Jay is waiting for them. He tells them that they are going to a Covergirl Party. There are also representatives from Elle magazine, Cosmopolitan magazine and Covergirl. The girls don't know it, but this is actually a challenge. Mixed within all these people are judges that will be taking notes on each of the girls, based on the following: confidence/poise, interaction with the people, and how they show their beauty both on the outside and the inside. Once again, Brittany drinks a lot, making herself look like she's more concerned with drinking than with making a good impression. When the party is over, Jay tells them that it was a challenge. The winner of the challenge gets to choose one friend to stay at a hotel on the beach. The winner of this challenge turns out to be Keenyah. She decides to bring Brittany with her.

When they arrive at the hotel, they discover it is a suite with trays of foods, desserts, pastries, champagne, etc. Back at the house, the other girls get a Tyra Mail. It says, "The competition is getting tougher. Are you running out of gas? Be ready at 6:30." Brittany and Keenyah also receive a Tyra Mail at the hotel. It says that a perk of winning the competition means that they are allowed to arrive 'fashionably late' to the next photo shoot.

That evening, Lluvy is freaking out because she knows she has to pull off a good picture or else she is out. She says she needs to focus on her pictures 110%. She's already been in the bottom twice.

In the morning, Keenyah and Brittany get breakfast in bed. They are also taken to the hotel spa where they get deep tissue massages and go swimming on the beach. Meanwhile, the other girls have gotten up and are ready by 6:30. They are taken in the vans and driven out in the middle of the desert. They stop in front of a deserted gas station. Jay is there, telling them that it gets hot, so they are going to have to work with the elements. He shows them a gigantic fan that will provide wind and a huge spray of water that will provide water. They are going to be dressed as 'sexy mechanics, all greased up' for this shoot. They find out that the man that has been doing their makeup for every shoot doubles as a photographer (he's photographed famous people before): Mathu Anderson.

Kahlen goes first and has a few problems getting used to the cold water. Tiffany was told she got it right and pulled it off. Christina goes, then Michelle, who looks timid and non-energetic. Naima looks great and Rebecca has trouble being sexual with such a good girl face. Tatiana's shots were admired by Jay. Lluvy is told she doesn't really know how to 'do' sexy. Keenyah and Brittany show up later...Keenyah moves too quickly for the photographer, while Brittany looks great.

At the judging, Tyra introduces the prizes once again, and the judges: Janice Dickinson, Nigel Barker, Nole Marin and Mathu Anderson (the photographer for the shoot). This will be the fifth cut. Tyra says they will be evaluated on how well you sell your most important product...yourself. The girls are given empty, plain perfume bottles and materials to decorate them with. They then have to present that product, as well as yourself, in the best way possible. blah blah

The girls are called forward and are given their photo critiques. Here are a few words that the judges said to each.

Brittany: 'Perfect'

Christina: ' Sexy! Like Wonder Woman'
Tatiana: 'Beautiful photo!'

The judges then deliberate. Tyra calls them back in and she stands in front of them, saying she has 10 beautiful girls in front of her and only 9 pictures in her hands. She starts calling the names...

They then have a daring photo shoot, which showed feathers and a hot guy, with lots of touching. Someone pushes Tyra over the edge. She seems to get progressively angry and then yells, "BE QUIET!" at the elimination round.

Jerry: I don't think Tyra is hot at all. In season 2, they showed her without makeup, and she looks...frightening.

It's amazing what photo editors and makeup can do.

i think Tyra is gorgeous.

I have never seen her without make up, but with make up she is gorgeous and has a great body. I think Michelle will be leaving soon. She is just not model material, especially with the skin problem. It just looks gross. Brittany needs to calm down. Especially when they were at the Cover Girl party and she was drinking so much. She should be more professional. I think Tiffany looks very manly. And the tattoos are not a good thing to have if you are a model. I thought Lluvy was a sweet girl and her face was unique, i mean she was pretty sometimes, but other times REALLY not. And i think Tatiana's features are to small. Her mouth is just so tiny. As for the preview that the showed of next weeks show where Tyra yelled "be quiet" or whatever it was she said, i think she was probably just showing one of the girls acting since they are going to be acting next week. They are just trying to create curiosity so people will atch next week. I think Tyra is too nice to ever yall at anyone.Even if she did I doubt they would show it because she is a producer of the show so she wouldnt let them.

Episode 7

The episode begins at the house. Kahlen and Rebecca talk about Lluvy’s elimination. Rebecca was terrified knowing that she looks too sweet and innocent. She wants to be with her fiancé, so it’s hard for her to concentrate. Kahlen understands that she needs to become more confident.

They are going out to dinner to Dolce owned by Ashton Kutcher. Tiffany is excited with this experience. She’s not used to it. They get fancy foods that Tiffany doesn’t understand what it is. The girls have to explain stuff to her. She’s also not used to eating raw things, some of which was on the table.

Back at the house, there’s Tyra mail. "You’ve walked the walk, but can you talk the talk. Be ready at 11 AM."

They arrive at Palos Verdes Players with drama masks on the front. The girls are pretty nervous. Larry Moss, an acting teacher shows up. He says they need to learn how to be spokespersons. They need to know a lot about presentation and confidence. They go on stage, and he tells them he’s going to teach them cockney. The girls have to repeat what he says. He gives them scripts to become one of the characters. They have to memorize a part.

Back at the house, the girls are practicing the lines trying to become that character. Tiffany is having a lot of trouble because she already knows she doesn’t speak as clearly as the other girls. She’s wigged out by having to speak another dialect. Tiffany calls her grandma for focus. She tells her to not be someone she’s not. Tiffany said she’s smiling on the outside, but crying on the inside.

In the morning, they are still practicing. Everyone is nervous, but Michelle is really confident because she used to be in drama. They show up and Boris Kodjoe (http://www.upn.com/shows/top_model4/show/ep07/photos/2/ep07_09.jpg) (host of ? soul food) is there to act with them. They have to transform themselves with makeup and costumes that they are handed in bags. They have to do it themselves. Afterwards, they get critiqued by Boris. The winner of this competition gets $10,000 in diamonds to share with two friends. The winner is Naima. She chooses Michelle and Tatiana.

The girls are talking about how cockney is white ghetto. Tiffany starts to defend the ghetto, but then she starts to feel discouraged and doesn’t know if she wants to be this model girl. She doesn't know if all this change is worth it.

The girls that win go in a nice car and are taken to a building with a huge vault. They go inside and are shown Kraiko diamonds. Naima chooses a yellow diamond necklace. Michelle chooses a diamond ring. Tatiana chooses a diamond ring as well.

Rebecca, back at the house, calls her fiancé on the phone and says she is getting a little sick and stressed out. Soon thereafter, they receive Tyra mail. It says, “Top models are never chicken. Tomorrow the feathers are going to fly. Be ready at 8:00 in the morning.” Rebecca doesn’t want to go home yet and she says she NEEDS to nail it this time. She afford can’t mess up.

In the morning, they leave and arrive at a house. Jay Manuel is waiting for them. They are up in the Hollywood Hills. He told them that they get to work with their aggression and let out some of their sexual frustrations. They get to wear bras from Wonder Bra and model with a top model named Rib (?). Kwaku Alston is the photographer this time. Rebecca thinks it’s awkward because she’s engaged and is going to get married when she goes home. She’s not as excited. The girls are on mattresses and they have feathers flying around the room. The girls model with him and they are supposed to show off the bra. Kahlen is extremely nervous. When she first saw him, she turned beet red. She was really uncomfortable in that intimate setting. Rebecca’s gets up there and she’s really scared. She pretended that it was her fiancé's face on his to feel better about it.

That night, there is Tyra mail. "Tomorrow, you meet with the judges. Only 8 of you will continue on…"

In the morning, they are worried about the eliminations. Rebecca and Kahlen are the least confident about continuing on. That evening, they show up at the judging. This is their 6th cut. Tyra explains the prizes again and then introduces the judges: Janice Dickinson, Nigel Barker, Nole Marin, and Boris Kodjoe.

They get a mock special assignment. They have to pretend to be a host. Give a status report with what’s going on with Paris fashion industry. They have to speak off of the teleprompter. There are lots of French words that they mispronounce horribly. On Tiffany’s turn, she gets upset and says she can’t do this mostly because she can’t pronounce a lot of the words. Tyra tells her that all the other girls goofed on the words, and then asks her if she wants to go home. Tiffany shrugs and starts to cry. She tells her that if she doesn’t do this, she will be going home. Tiffany grabs her face and huffs with nervousness. Tiffany picks up in her place and starts over, messing up everything horribly.

They critique them, and then send them out. They look over the photos and decide who will go on. They think that some of the girls have reached a plateau and aren’t getting any better.

The girls come back in. Tyra talks to them and says they were all disappointed. She said one girl stands out...Brittany.

She is the first name to be called. Then the next names are called:

Rebecca and Tiffany are in the bottom two. They step forward. Tyra says they are there for two different reasons.

Rebecca has stopped getting any better...and she's playing it safe. Tiffany doesn’t seem to want it more than any of the girls. She says she doesn’t seem like she feels like she’s worth it. She has a low self-esteem.

Tyra puts her hands on the last photograph.
















She holds it out...



















And flips it over...
















It's blank! She flips it to the other side, and that side is blank, too. Tiffany and Rebecca are both eliminated. They go to say goodbye to the other girls. Rebecca is crying, but Tiffany is just laughing it off. As they go to leave, Tyra tells them to stand in front of her again. She’s mad at Tiffany. She says she thinks Tiffany sees this as a joke. Tiffany says she’s hurt and she said she can’t change. Tyra is getting really upset. Tiffany is angry and starts to go on a mini-rant, but Tyra yells at her and says, "STOP IT! I have never in my life yelled at a girl like this. When my mother yells at a girl like this, it’s because she loves her. We were all rooting for you. How dare you. Learn how to take responsibility for yourself..." (or something like that). Tiffany turns and walks away. Rebecca follows. The girls pack up and leave.

That was the best episode ever. Im so glad Tiffany went home. She had a big attitude and Im glad Tyra yelled at he. I totally didnt expect that from Tyra. She was really upset. But I thought Rebecca was a pretty girl, but she was kinda boring.

I'll miss Rebecca on the show, but she was too "girl-next-door"ish.

Episode 8

The episode begins at the house. The girls are at a table discussing the night’s eliminations. They weren’t expecting that two people would be eliminated. A clip is shown from Tyra screaming. They are very disappointed in the situation.

Tyra shows up at the house and they all sit to talk. She said they’ll talk about judging. She says that she needs to talk to them about how she blew up. She was pissed off that Tiffany gave up when she could’ve been something big. She just became overwhelmed with emotions. It’s very important to fight until the end and not give up.

A few of the girls move out of their room into the Bel-Air part of the house, since it is now empty.

Tyra mail: It says, “Ever been visited by an Extra-Terrestrial? Be ready to leave by 11:00 AM.”

They show up at the Renaissance Hotel and walk into a suite on the top floor. A woman named Jann Carl, who is an anchor for Entertainment Tonight, greets them. She’s going to teach them how to do interviews. They’re going to pretend to do interviews with one another, being the interviewee and the winner of America’s Next Top Model. Jan tells them to make sure to personalize the interviews. Jann really loves Michelle’s naturalness and how she doesn’t try to be anyone else.

That night, back at the house, the girls get ready to go out to a dance club (El Centro). Michelle is a great dancer and was very confident while she was there. Kahlen felt a little more let loose as well.

After the night, they go back to the house. Kahlen gets on the phone and there was a message saying that a very good friend of hers from the past has died. She doesn’t now if she can deal with this. She said it’s really hard to get a friend ripped away from you and not even see it coming. She also says she’s worried

This is the eve of your first time in the media’s spot light. Be ready at the crack of dawn.

They show up in a lobby and a woman named Bernadette Odoms greets them. They are going to be reviewed by Jann, using a challenge. Brittany goes first, and Eve, the rapper/actor/designer is behind the door. The challenge is to interview Eve on her new clothing line, fetish. At the end, the winner of the challenge gets to interview Eve on entertainment tonight. The winner of the challenge was Christina, the first challenge she has won.

Back at the house, the house is tense. And everyone is on the edge. The whole house is becoming a mess. Tatiana calls her boyfriend and feels like she’s not bonding and isn’t liked.

Tyra mail: Tomorrow you will finally get to rest in peace and quiet. Be ready to leave by 7am.

Kahlen is nervous because she thinks the challenge is about death. They end up being driven to a cemetery. Jay Manuel greets them. They are going to portray the 7 deadly sins...at the bottom of an 8 foot grave. Kahlen cries a bit, but tries to keep her emotions to herself. Johann Wolf is introduced as being the photographer for today's photo shoot. Jay sees that Kahlen is upset and questions people to see what’s wrong with her. He then confronts her to talk about it. She says she just needs a few minutes before going into hair and makeup. They are all dressed up and then lowered into a grave one after the other.

That night, Kahlen is emotionally exhausted. She went through with the photo shoot and let all of her anger and emotions out while getting her pictures taken. Christina is the only one really supporting her and making sure she is okay.

Tyra mail: Tomorrow you will meet with the judges. Only six of you will continue on to becoming America’s next top model.

At the judging, they are going to make the 8th cut. Tyra talks about the prizes and then introduces the judges: Janice Dickenson, Nigel Barker, Nole Marin, and Johann Wolf (the photographer). Today’s test they will be participating in a mock press conference. They come up and walk up to a podium. The judges question them on true things and on made up things.

They all come back in and they are critiqued about their challenge and the photo shoots. They are sent out and then the judges deliberate. When the girls come back in, Tyra is standing up in front, telling them she only has six photos in her hands.

She starts to call names:

The bottom two are Michelle and Tatiana. They come forward. Tyra says that both of them are beautiful and take beautiful pictures. It’s not just about how you look, its how you speak and how articulate you are. It's about having self-esteem even when you want to crumble. One of you may have a little bit more potential.

EVERYONE JUST LOVES NAIMA!!! well not me! i used to but now shes getting on my nerves just because of the fact she has been people's favorite for the past 6 weeks. I like michelle sorta, she is pretty in her own strange, creepy way. i also like christina. i'm not really decided on a fav though. The Zodiac pictures were beautiful. Last night's show was awesome!

Gosh I haven't been on in awhile! I've been busy with the other ANTM forums anyway, Naima has been winning covergirl ever since it started!! Does anyone think that she will eventually win? My top three now (in no order) Keenyah,Naima, and Brittany.

Episode 9

The show begins at the house. The girls are talking about how nerve-wracking the eliminations are getting. Michelle really thought she was going to go home that night.

Tyra Mail: Are you born to be wild? Be ready at 8:30am.

The next morning, they leave. Keenyah is eating a bagel on the way to where they are going. She says that carbs are her weakness. They show up at a zoo. It’s raining and Jay Alexander is waiting for them. They are going to be studying animals and learning how they move. It is part of their challenge. Jet and Eric, animal trainers, bring out animals. They bring out a leopard, a tiger, and a bear. The girls watch how the animals move. At the end, they get to feed the bear marshmallows with their mouths. Afterwards, they have to pose like the animals in the mud/gravel/ground. First the leopard, then the tiger, and then the bear. The girl who wins the competition was Brittany because she imitated the faces of the animals as well as the bodies. She chooses Keenyah and Christina to get the reward, but they have no idea what it is. Tyra shows up and tells them that one of her during on of her first cat walks she burned because the designer told her to be like a cat. At the end of the walkway, she hissed, scratched and growled like a cat. She took it too literally. She just wants them to understand how to take someone’s words and work into it. She then tells them that they are going to do photo shoots with lions. Tyra says she’s not sure if she’s feeling it. The animals are lunging at them from the caged in area, it’s rainy and cold. AFRICA!!!!” The girls are going to be going to South Africa. They have to pack that night.

In the morning, they are finishing up packing. They have to take everything and they only have two hours to pack. They take a plane from Los Angeles to Cape Town, South Africa. They get there and it’s sunny and hot. They pull up at a safari reserve. There are drummers there, and the girls dance. Tyra runs up to them and welcomes them to South Africa. They are there because South African designs are becoming popular and the fashion industry is developing there. It’s a good place to start. They all dance together. All of a sudden, dancers come running out and they look like they’re from a tribe. When they are done, Tyra has since left.

They are told they are going to go on a safari. When they come to the area with the lions and lionesses, they are told to stay quiet. As they are passing through, the lions look at them (in the jeep…with no sides). One of the lionesses gets up and starts to approach the car. They try to get her to stop walking. She ceases movement for a moment, and then starts walking towards them again. They are able to get past them and into safety.

That night, they discover that the winner of the earlier competition (Brittany) and the two girls she chose (Keenyah and Christina) get to stay in a luxury hotel, while the others have to build a tent to sleep in the wilderness. The three girls arrive and they have their own beds and they’re inside. They get champagne. There are bugs all over the place, even on the inside. The girls roughing it have an easier time than those on inside, who spend a large amount of the evening trying to get rid of the bugs.

In the morning, they have a hot breakfast waiting for them. The girls from the wilderness are driven to where the three girls are staying and they eat. Keenyah confesses that she has gained 12 pounds, yet she continues eating and eating throughout breakfast. She says she eats in hard situations. Afterwards, Jay Manuel greets them. They are going to do a photo shoot. The girls get to be animals that Jay believes is most like their personalities and looks:

Kahlen – Springbok (South African animal; looks much like an antelope)
Christina - Ostrich
Brittany - Giraffe
Michelle – Zebra
Naima- Cheetah
Keenyah- Elephant

The shoot is for a new Lubriderm moisturizer. Gerda Genis is the photographer. They have to pose outside, dressed as their animal, standing over a live crocodile.

That night they go to restaurant called 5 flies and relax. It's their first night out in Africa, and they enjoy their time. While they sit at dinner, a Tyra Mail is delivered.

Tyra Mail: You’ve been out where the lions roam, now head out to your seaside home.

They leave and are taken to a nice hotel suite. It’s very nice and it’s on the water. The girls are excited because it is very nice, and being by the water is very calming.

Tyra Mail: Tomorrow you will meet with the judges. Only five of you will continue on to becoming America’s Next Top Model.

That night, they arrive at the judging. They are going to be making the 9th cut. Tyra goes through the prizes and then introduces the judges: Janice Dickinson, Nigel Barker, Nole Marin, and Gerda Genis. They are going to be tested on their posing skills. They are going be given an object and they have to pose with it, quickly. There are five objects in all. They tell them which emotion to evoke with the object: anger, fear, aloof, passion, and happiness. They are then evaluated on the challenge and then their photographs. They are sent out and the judges deliberate. They come back in and Tyra tells them that she only has five photographs in her hands. She begins showing the photographs.

The bottom two are Keenyah and Michelle. Tyra tells Michelle that she has a rare and beautiful face. Although, she falls apart under pressure which is not good, because the fashion industry is full of pressure. Tyra tells Keenyah that you don't see a model when you look at her anymore. As much as Tyra is against super skinny model bodies, she says that's what she has to deal with for now. She has to be able to fit into the clothes.

Tyra puts her hands on the last photograph...

Keenyah has gained a lot of weight. Look at her first picture (on the first page, introduction picture) and then look at the elephant one.

The judges even told her they had to do A LOT of body touchups in order for her to look like a model in the picture.

i personally dont think that michelle should have gone last night. i still kinda liked her even though shes not my favourite. i think that keenyah should have gone, the judges didnt like her past few pictures and she has gained quite a but of weight

I didnt get to see last weeks episode, so thank you so much for the review of it. Im so happy to hear Michelle went home. I havnt noticed Keenyah's weight gain, I havnt really paid attention. I think Brittany has alot of pottential to be a great model. She has a friendly personality, she just needs to tone it down a bit sometimes.

Aww I do, I love Keenyah she's one of my favorites. You also have to remember that Keenyah didn't start gaining weight till this last episode. In the beginning she was smaller and at a model weight. Anyway I hope she get's to lose it becuase if Keenyah leaves then I only have 1 girl to root for...NAIMA.

Episode 10

The show begins and they’re at the hotel. Tyra comes in and they eat dinner together. She talks with them about how they’re feeling right now in this competition. Brittany says she’s glad that they are all able to get along. They all talk about how they’ve grown throughout the weeks. At the end, Tyra bids them goodnight and she leaves. Keenyah keeps eating after Tyra leaves.

Tyra mail: “Step out on the Cape Town and be seen. Show 'em what you’re working with.”

In the morning, they meet with Jackie Burger, a fashion director of South Africa’s Elle Magazine and Paolo Devito a CEO for the National Association of Modeling Agencies). They teach them about go’ sees. They are given their portfolios with their pictures in them and a list of the places they will go. They have to be done by 4:30. They’re not required to go meet with all the people on the list, so they get to choose who and where. They all have separate vans. They get 2 ½ hours to do it all. At one of the places, both Keenyah and Naima (who got there first) show up. They race up the stairs, and Keenyah gets in first, which means Naima has to waste time waiting for Keenyah to be done. Keenyah arrives at another place where Kahlen is first. Keenyah keeps trying to jump in front of her. She decides to leave and let Keenyah have the place. Those people say she’s quite fleshy, and not lean enough in the back.

Keenyah, Kahlen, Brittany and Christina get back. Naima isn’t back yet. She decided to squeeze into more go-sees. She ends up being 45 minutes late. The women who taught them about the go'sees are pretty upset with her tardiness. They then have to announce who the winner of the go'sees is. Jackie and Paolo say that the will be taken in a limo to Craig Port’s house for dinner (a fashion designer.) The winner turns out to be Keenyah. She chooses Brittany to go with her.

At the house, Kahlen gives a toast to Naima and Christina. They all say nice things about one another.

Brittany and Keenyah show up at Craig Port’s house. There are tons of people in the industry there. It’s a dinner party. Keenyah gets a little pissy because Brittany steals the spotlight at the party. They leave and head back to the house. Keenyah tells her that she was much louder than she was.

Tyra Mail: Get ready to Kloof! Be ready at 6 am.

They get in the van in the morning and show up at a place out in the wilderness. They are told that they are going to be kloofing. Kloofing is going through water, rocks, upstream to a location. They have to put wetsuits on. (Keenyah is always eating.) They head out into the brushyness and into water. It’s freezing cold. They travel upstream until they see Jay Manuel. He is waiting for them at the end of the hike. They have to model in the environment. They have to wear branches, grasses, twine, etc. as their outfits, which they will go out and find pieces of which to wear. They have makeup artists and hair artists to make them look better after the long hike. They get the nature things glued on top of the bathing suits they are wearing. They model on the rock near the water and waterfalls.

That night, they get back to the hotel.

Tyra mail: Tomorrow you will meet with the judges. Only four of you will continue on to becoming America’s Next Top Model.

None of them have any idea who could be going home. They’re all pretty worried.

They arrive at the judging. Tyra says they are going to make their 10th cut. She runs through the prizes again and then introduces the judges: Janice Dickinson, Nigel Barker, Nole Marin, and Paola Devito. They are going to be looking at the photos, but are going to be doing it differently. This time the tables will be turned. Now the girls have to judge each other’s photos. They have to be honest because it’s testing their knowledge of the business. After this, they each come forward one at a time and tell the judges who they think has the most top model potential and then the least top model potential. They are evaluated one by one by the judges on how they critiqued the other girls and then on their photos. They leave the room and they evaluate the girls to themselves.

They come back in. Tyra is standing up at the front. She says she that there are five beautiful women in front of her, but she only has four photos in her hand. She starts calling names:

Christina and Brittany are in the bottom two. Tyra calls them forward to speak to them. She says they aren't in the bottom two because they take bad pictures. One of them (Christina) has the heart and soul of an angel, but the judges see someone that’s cold and icy. The other one (Brittany) is full of life, but there’s a time for play and a time for work. They don’t see her progressing. What has she learned?

My job gets easier the less girls there are, haha.

Brit, looks just fine. Keenyah's hair is a friggin' mess. Kahlen looks beautiful. The lighting, background and everything is great. Naima's pose is nice and so is the pic but her head and face look weird to me. Christina, didn't do it for me this week.

Brittany gets on my LAST nerve....grow up already. I think I would find her more beautiful if she would just quit acting so retarded all the time.

Brittany does kind of give off the childish air to people. I also think she would be truly beautiful if she acted a tad bit more mature but not overboard mature becuase I also don't want her acting like she has a stick up her ass it would really effect her fan base. =)

i liked christina, she was my top favourite, now its kahlen. I dont mind brittany as much anymore. i just really dont like Keenyah

I wasn't able to get to sleep until 6:30am so I'm posting the summary from somewhere else.

Episode 11:

This week the girls endured a stressful dance competition at a South African community center, and Naima, the 20-year-old coffee shop waitress from Detroit, Michigan, won the challenge easily. As part of her reward, Naima earned extra frames for her photo shoot. When she distributed more frames to Brittany, the 22-year-old elementary school instructional aide from Tallahassee, Florida, and Keenyah, the 19-year-old student from Compton, California, she left rival Kahlen, the 21-year-old restaurant hostess from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, out in the cold. But the extra frames awarded to Brittany and Naima didn't cut it, and Brittany was eliminated because her personality and desire to win weren't enough to keep her around.

As the final four get together for dinner, some of the residual tension from the last panel, when the girls each had to judge one another, bubbles over. Keenyah and Brittany begin to get on each other’s nerves, and Kahlen is annoyed with Keenyah's selfish attitude. Keenyah has also continued to eat whatever she wants as well, ignoring advice from the judges and the other girls.

The next day, the four meet with two South African designers, Bebe and Mandela, creators of G'Mbo Urban Ethnic Clothing. The pair will take the girls out into the township to see where they derive their inspiration, and on their tour, the girls see the poverty and hardships so many of the citizens of South Africa live with daily. Later, they arrive at the township community center where they meet members of the Jazzart theatre. Each girl will be paired up with an instructor to learn about dance, and Brittany and Kahlen both get nervous, while Naima jumps right in. Kahlen has a tough time figuring things out, but Keenyah feels as though she should have a connection to the dance because of her heritage. When the group sits down and talks with the dancers on a break, Keenyah talks about being black and how she has wanted to visit Africa, while Naima feels left out. Despite her lighter skin, she is black on both sides of her family; her father is also Mexican and Indian, while her mother is also Irish.

The girls learn they will have to perform for an audience as a challenge, and that they will be judged by Alfred Hinkle, the artistic director of Jazzart, as well as J. Alexander. They dress up in African fashions, and prior to the performance, Kahlen gets herself worked up in frustration. She does not want to dance at all, much less in front of a large audience, but when the competition starts, somehow she pulls out a great performance. Keenyah feels honored to learn the African dance, and Naima feels like she can express herself without words in the performance.

J. Alexander tells the audience to choose the winner of the challenge, and with resounding applause and screams, they select Naima. As her prize, she receives an extra 30 frames at the next photo shoot, and may also choose someone to get an extra 20 frames if she so desires. Kahlen is disappointed when Naima strategically chooses Keenyah, because Kahlen already takes great pictures. Keenyah gets to give ten frames to one of the two remaining girls, and she chooses Brittany, leaving Kahlen with nothing. Kahlen feels betrayed, and the competition is starting to wear her down.

The next day the group meets with Modise Phekouyane, a guide of Robbene Island, a former political prison during apartheid. It was in this jail where Nelson Mandela was housed for 18 years before his eventual release and election as the first president of South Africa's new democracy. The girls are taken inside the prison to learn about Mandela, and Phekouyane offers to let one of them open Mandela's jail cell with a master key. Naima holds out her hand, and while she opens the cell, Keenyah feels as though she should be the one to do it. "I don't really think of Naima as black; I just don't see that," Keenyah says. But the girls file into the cell and feel the history of it. Keenyah is moved to tears and talks about her experience on the way back to the hotel. But Brittany is tired of hearing about Keenyah's connection to Africa, especially since earlier that day, Keenyah had to ask Brittany if Mandela was still alive.

The next day the girls are brought to an ostrich farm for a 1940s set shoot for Caress Sensational Smoothing Body Wash. There will be drummers making music, and the girls will demonstrate what they learned about movement with some male models surrounding them. As the girls prep, the male models hang out with them and discuss going out clubbing. One of the men, Bertini, flirts with Keenyah and asks for her number.

Naima begins the shoot with her extra frames, and she is confident and alluring, although she turns on the showgirl smile near the end. Keenyah is next, and since Bertini’s attention has already made her feel uneasy, she is definitely not comfortable as the music starts. When Bertini touches her leg with a moan, she stops the shoot and expresses her unhappiness. But Jay talks her into relaxing, and she finishes the shoot. Brittany follows and dances with verve, although it’s a little awkward, and Kahlen has to focus intensely to work hard without having any extra frames. She doesn't feel sexy around the men, but she pushes her nerves aside and gives it her best shot.

That night, the three male models greet the girls for a dinner, and the Keenyah situation escalates when Keenyah brings up the incident from the shoot. The awkwardness continues when Keenyah reveals that she didn't bring any money to pay for her drinks, and Brittany calls attention to it. "I see fakeness right now," Brittany says to Keenyah, later adding, "You’re very selfish." The conversation explodes into a full-blown argument between Keenyah and Brittany. Brittany brings up the earlier situation with Keenyah's displeasure over Naima opening Nelson Mandela's cell door. Naima and Kahlen remain quiet; Kahlen hates the tension, and Naima is thankful that she was able to have her experience in the prison and not make an issue out of it. Brittany shouts "Shut up!" at Keenyah, and their fight continues at the hotel. Naima tries to moderate the conversation, but eventually walks off saying, "I don’t want to hear it." Keenyah follows her into her room, and the whole thing keeps going, while Kahlen cries on the balcony by herself. The pressure is getting to them all. Brittany says, "I'm just ready for there to be a winner. Let's do this."

That morning, the girls arrive for panel, where they meet with the judges, including guest judges Mandela and Bebe. Tyra announces that the challenge will be to dance and demonstrate movement, with poses inserted at certain moments. The drummer begins, poses are called out, and when it's finished, all the judges get into the mix for the first ever ANTM panel dance party.

Brittany is first up for evaluation, and Janice points out that she was holding back in the pose competition, but her photo is well received. For the first time, the girls will also see their worst shots, and Brittany groans when she sees hers. Keenyah is next, and she had stepped forward during the pose competition to put herself out in front. Nolé says, "You looked like a deep cup o'hot chocolate. I just want to sip you down." Her best shot is only "good," and she tries to defend her photo by bringing up Bertini-gate. However, Nigel and Tyra both say that a model has to be able to control the situation and not be affected by the circumstances. In her worst photo, Keenyah's stomach bulges, and Janice and Tyra repeat that she has to suck in her gut. Kahlen's dancing is uniformly disliked, and her photo isn't so great either. Naima is last, and she really hid herself in the posing competition, but she recognizes that she held back. Her photo is "spicy hot," though, and Nigel loves it. She stands out on paper, and he says that she has to bring that kind of energy to the panels. Even her worst shot isn't bad, and Nigel is very disappointed in her panel performance.

Deliberations begin. Nigel loves Kahlen, but not this week's picture, while Mandela thinks her look is strong and eclectic. Brittany is flawless to Nolé, and Janice and Nigel argue about whether her personality is a positive or negative. Naima is next, and the judges wonder, "Who is Naima?" They don't see her personality, and wonder if she can hack it. Keenyah is last, and while Mandela sees her as skinny by African standards, Janice calls her pudgy.

The final four file back into the panel room, and Tyra hands the first photo to......



















































Keenyah. Her strong and confident performance made the judges ignore that "little extra 'oomph' that [she] might have in [her] midsection."

Kahlen, who is "almost a complete package," but she must learn to be sexy on camera.

Naima and Brittany step forward, and Tyra explains that photos are not the reason why these two are up for elimination: it's about heart. "You, Brittany, you walked in with so much fire," says Tyra. "Now the judges just see someone that's slipping away." And Naima has a fire inside, but it's weak, and the judges don't know if her personality is strong enough to connect with America.

Okay here's MY thing, yes of course you started the thread but without the people who post here you wouldn't have one. That's nice that you want to see it through to the end..I haven't seen anyone say any specific names and said Oh "such and such" won so what's your problem? Oh and just like you got that information about that episode we can get information for the final results. Don't threaten us..it's not the way to handle things. Anywho,I really dont like Keenyahshe is stuck up. and Naima is kind of full of her self. I was sad to see Britney go but I expected it to happen.

Okay here's MY thing, yes of course you started the thread but without the people who post here you wouldn't have one. That's nice that you want to see it through to the end..I haven't seen anyone say any specific names and said Oh "such and such" won so what's your problem? Oh and just like you got that information about that episode we can get information for the final results. Don't threaten us..it's not the way to handle things. Thank you for starting this thread! ANTM is one of my favorite shows. I dont really have a favorite so far.I think Tatiana is really pretty though. I dont like the wrestler girl from Arkansas or wherever, Michelle, and I think the platinum air is just odd on her. I think they made a BIG mistake at the last elimination. Brita is gorgeous.

I love ANTM!! Its one of my favorite shows. I dont really like the final 3 all that much, I dont know why they got rid of Brita first. She was gorgeous. Out of all three contestants, if I HAD to pick one, I would pick Naima. I think Kahlen chokes up during shoots too much, and Keenyah is just a bitch.

I would rather you guys find a way to watch the finale instead of me writing it out.

Episode 12

Tyra arrives to speak to each of the girls one-on-one about where their minds are at this late stage of the game, and Kahlen is first up. She assures Tyra that she has confidence, having dealt with nay-sayers in the past, and she's driven to become a model no matter what anyone else says. Naima has learned to be comfortable with herself, and to let go of self-hatred. Tyra finds that fact interesting, since oftentimes the competition and constant critique can cause the opposite effect. Keenyah is focused on keeping herself at the front of the competition, and Tyra wonders if she's been eating more to relieve stress. Although Tyra knows that Keenyah doesn't have the luxury to start her career in whatever arm of the industry she wants, she does recommend that Keenyah focus on eating healthy and go from there.

Tyra Mail arrives, letting the girls know that they have to be ready at 6:45AM the following morning for a challenge. When the time arrives, they meet Jay Manuel at Sasani studios to shoot a commercial for CoverGirl Outlast make-up. The commercial will have two elements: a runway show and fun backstage action. Following the commercial, the girls will shoot a print campaign for CoverGirl. J. Alexander and Jay Manuel call out suggestions to all the girls for the runway part of the shoot. When Keenyah struts her stuff, Jay becomes frustrated with her constant winking and blowing the camera kisses. Naima recognizes that Keenyah has changed, and that she's more arrogant than ever before. The behind the scenes pieces are fun for the girls to shoot, but all three of them have trouble delivering their lines in a close up shot for the camera. Kahlen has the toughest time of all, struggling over and over with her words.

Next is the CoverGirl print campaign beauty shot, and Keenyah is up first. Jay gives her pointers as she poses. Later, Jay comments that "her smile just got stuck there." Naima is next, and though she's nervous over the make or break nature of the shoot, Jay helps her through it with tips and eventually says, "bellissima." Meanwhile, Kahlen feels that the beauty shot will give her a chance to redeem herself after her miserable commercial shoot.

The next day is the elimination, and Keenyah feels that her greatest competition is Naima, since Kahlen is struggling. Kahlen thinks it's going to be her turn to go home as well since right now it's less about photos and more about performance. But it all comes down to the panel, and Tyra is there to greet the three with the judges, including guest judge Gretha Scholtz, creator of the Poison Ivy bathing suit designs. There are three criteria for the night's judging: the commercial, runway walk, and the photo. Everyone watches as Tyra airs the CoverGirl commercial, and after that, it's time for the runway demo.

Each of the girls performs their strongest walk, stomping and strutting for the judges. Janice comments that Naima had "legs like Gumby" during her walk, but that her beauty shot could be seen in any magazine on the stands today. Nolé loves the spice she added to the commercial, and Tyra is impressed that she could pull it off. When the judges ask where this energy is coming from, Naima says that in suppressing her past, she was suppressing all over herself. Janice says, "It's the past, it's [over,]" and for the first time, Naima's composure breaks in front of the judges. Keenyah walks next, and though Gretha doesn't like her walk much, Nigel thinks her photo works really well. Janice doesn't love her pose, nor could she recognize any of her inner beauty in the commercial. Nigel disagrees; he believes that the commercial was where her greatest strengths came out. Kahlen walks last, and Nigel wonders if she even breathes as she walks. When her photo comes on screen, Nigel, Janice and Nolé all love it; Nigel wonders where she's been hiding her smile, and Janice thinks it's her strongest photo ever. However, Tyra doesn't like it: "It doesn't look like a cosmetic ad." Nigel and Janice both agree that her commercial shoot was terrific, while Nolé and Tyra think she didn't pop so well.

As deliberations begin, the judges have disagreements over all three girls. Tyra feels that her mind was changed with Naima's performance, but Janice thinks that she needs more than a great smile. When it comes to Kahlen, Gretha thinks "she's got the stuff to make it," and Tyra acknowledges that she can definitely stomp the runway, but can she make it as a spokesmodel? That's still up in the air. Nigel believes that Keenyah nailed the CoverGirl stuff, but Janice feels that she's not high fashion enough. Though she is striking, Janice repeats, "Keenyah needs to lose weight." Tyra notes that the three all have strengths and weaknesses, but as Gretha says, "There can only be one."

The elimination round begins, and Tyra hands over the first photo to Naima, who "opened up a door to [her] heart and to [her] spirit" tonight. Keenyah and Kahlen step forward, and Tyra asks them to face each other. To Kahlen, Tyra explains that Keenyah has everything that Kahlen lacks: sparkle, spunk and the power to command attention. Keenyah needs what Kahlen has as well: the ability to "pose her ass off in a photo," and a strong presence on the runway. With that, Tyra reveals Kahlen's photo, and Keenyah is stunned to be going home. With tears in her eyes, Keenyah says, "I honestly am a little bit shocked… Right before [Tyra] called the names, she said, 'One of you has more potential than the other, one of you is stronger,' I thought she was talking about me. I really wanted to be one of the last two, I really thought that I had more potential than Kahlen."

After Naima and Kahlen take some time to reflect on their positions in the final two, Jay meets with them to explain what the final challenge will entail: a runway show incorporating the designers Poison Ivy, Gavin Rajah and Ruby. It will be a huge event, during which Kahlen and Naima will have to strike their poses on a runway submerged a few inches under water. J. Alexander emerges to demonstrate and explains, "You model tramps need to stomp this water and make this water do the water dance if it's the last thing you do… Can either of you swim?"

Tyra arrives backstage to give moral support and advice on what to do when out on the ramp, punctuating her pep talk with a "Work it!" As they are dressed and made up, neither girl wants to be around the other, each preferring to focus on her own game. Naima is up first for the lingerie walk, and when she gets out in front of the audience, she feels "superhuman." Kahlen "can feel [her] heart getting ready to explode" after that first pose. The second walks go well for both of them (despite Kahlen's difficulties in getting dressed), and they can hear the judges screaming for them behind the lights. The third walk is the tough one: it's when the judges will compare them to one another. Dressed in their swimsuits, Naima and Kahlen stomp in step with each other, posing on opposite ends of the runway. Following that is the finale, when all the models emerge on the ramp from under a waterfall, and at the end, Naima and Kahlen pose and dance under the falling water.

The big day arrives, and Naima and Kahlen arrive at panel wearing the evening dresses they modeled for the fashion show. Tyra explains that this is the time when everything they've learned will come into play, and they will "graduate into the real world of modeling as America's Next Top Model." There will be no guest judge this time, and they start the evaluation of the runway show with Naima. Tyra tells her, "You scared me when you came out, but in a good way. I was in shock; I was in awe. "Kahlen's first appearance was equally as thrilling for Tyra: "When you started walking, I thought you were fierce. I felt the stomp." But Tyra also mentions that Kahlen's mouth and neck get really tense on the runway, and that she needs to remember that.

The past photo shoots now come into play, starting with the first week. The judges compare all of them, pointing out positives and negatives, ending with the CoverGirl shoot. Janice thinks that Kahlen's photo is "stunning," and while Nigel likes Naima's shot, he prefers Kahlen's. Tyra asks the two finalists why they should be America's Next Top Model. Kahlen's answer: "I think I've overcome so much of who I am. I've overcome sitting in the corner, and not being 'that pretty girl,' and being overlooked time and time again and never being good enough." When Naima begins, she breaks down in tears. "I hated myself. I hated this girl. That was my lowest point, Tyra. I walked in here today and I felt beautiful." With that, deliberations begin.

When it comes to Kahlen, her body of work is superior to that of Naima, but if considering "the final exam" of the CoverGirl shoot, commercial and runway show, "Naima wins hands down." Nolé loves Kahlen's photos, but in person, "she's just dry," while Janice sees Kahlen as having exactly the right body proportions for designers. On the other hand, Nigel thought Naima ruled the runway show with her strength and presence, and Tyra "still has chills thinking about it." But Tyra is inspired by Kahlen's photos, and Nolé believes that she's produced one of ANTM's best overall portfolios. Tyra finally sums it up: "What do we choose--the girl who did well all semester and kind of failed the final exams, or the girl who did fair during the semester and killed during the final exams?"

It's the longest decision making process the judges have ever been through for the final choice. Naima's journey was a solid one, but her final was amazing; she has "an aura that speaks to a lot of young girls in America, and in the final fashion show, you rocked." On the other hand, Kahlen's photos "rival the top models that are in Elle, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar right now." But Kahlen's final performance wasn't as strong; she didn't "own" the fashion show.

As the tension builds, Tyra points to a display where the winner's photo will appear and, finally, Naima's photo flashes on screen. "I'm speechless," she exclaims joyfully, and Tyra embraces her. Kahlen's tears fall freely; she is devastated to have lost. "When I set foot on that runway, it made me realize why I wanted to do this… I feel like modeling is kind of my way of expressing my emotions, and it took this competition to really open my eyes."

ya i looked at the spoiler and she was wrong soooo stupid!

im not too happy, i was really rooting for kahlen. i was soo happy too see keenyah go home though. she was still bitching on her way out too i just wanted to slap her. it was kinda funny seeing her cry though. i wish kahlen had won, i liked naima, but i like kahlen better. i think that Naima kinda looksl ike eva though, which was another reason i didnt want her to win over kahlen.

Anyway, in conclusion this season was rather boring compared to Season 3 and I hope season 5 is much much better I mean I ALWAYS will love the photoshoots but this season the girls really didn't have me attached to them! Oh well can't wait SEASON 5!!!!!
