I think they're great without the heads and hands actually, makes it more interesting.

Try using some colour next time.

 not at all!

just use light colours. Experiment first, draw it out a rough sketch and practice, that way you won't ruin the original.

ooh i bet those drawings would look fantastic in pastel!

There's potential there, but to me there seems to be something missing... I can't figure what or why though.
As for the suggestion of colour, photocopy the originals and experiment. That's what art is, trying.
I love that style of fantasy art, but I can never visualise those images in my head to be able to put them on paper. *Jealous*
If youre feeling adventurous, why not use different materials such as fabric, leaves, different papers, dirt, sand, feathers etc to introduce colours, that way you don't need to worry about your ability with crayons or paints, and you create interesting, unique art.

there pretty plain... their not bad, but you need to do more... learn to hands and heads first of all... you cant get by on just bodys. and then do more little intricasys, spend more time on them and they will turn into art insead of headless handless doodles.

Aloha! I like to give contructive critisism, or as i like to call it, being brutally honest, so i will tell you what i think. First, All of their bodies are wayyy our of proportion. The first ones arms are not curves in the right places, the chest doesn't have a set end to it, teh waist to hip ratio is not big enough, the legs are like sticks, no curves. And the wings are not very convincing. The second one is much better, though the neck is too narrow and the nipple is too far out, maybe try and make is a little less prominent, though it is a good effect to the picture, the thigh should be a little larger, and the calf should slightly turn into the ankle, instead of it being a straight line, the feet are very interesting, i like them as their not so cleche. the top wings are ok, the bottom wings aren't great. They could use a little more shading and depth. Im not sure whats going on with the tail, its creative but the line just beneath and just above should connect if you were to draw a line through the tail, like if it wasn't there the two should connect, and their a little off, and the line on the back near the hip is backwards, it's suposed to be the other way around, concave. The third one, wow. It looks like a cartoon, and if thats what your going for, then right on. If not, then let off of the pointy boobs and the prominent ass crack. A little crack is ok, but too much and your addicted ( haha) well anyway, what's on her arms? if it's suposed to be there, then i suggest you make it obvious what it is, as it could be scales or body acne or body hair or anything else gross, When the butt goes into the legs it should be a little more prominent, like go in more and make it curve. The tail is the most cartoon part of it, shading? ever heard of it? well anyways, the fourth one, If your gonna put a dress on her, shad eher skin so it doesn't look like she's gonna topple over from tall skinnyness. Not that being tall and skinny is a bad thing, but she looks sickly. The neck once again is too small, the boobs need a more defined end into the stomache, the back needs to curve into the butt, not drop. Make the dress's front a continual curve instead of making it so curvey which way, and same with the back. After the end of the butt ( which you do not have in this darwing) you should go in slightley and then curve out until the end of the dress. And the bottom of the dress should have more shading, and a continual curve as well. SHADING ON THE WINGS!!! Im glad they don't have faces or hands, because then im sure this post would be at least twice as long. Better luck next time, Ciao
