I'll start by saying i'm about 225-230 and i'm 6'3'', male- now i've lost about 70 pounds the last year and a half-two years, but i cant get rid of that last fourty pounds. I walk atleast four times a week and about eight to ten miles each walk-i jog/run on occasion. I eat alot less then i use to-i work a somewhat physical job-but i cant loose that last 30-40 pounds- i used a wieght formula that said i should weight about 192-but now i'm not sure if i should beleive that- anyway- i was wondering if anyone would know how mutch i should way at my height, and if anyone had any tips as to getting rid of that last 30 pounds or so-prefferably quickly- any help would be appretiated- thanks-

How muscular are you? The muscle takes less volume than fat. Excess muscle weight is better to have than excess fat. As for loosing that last amount, change up your exercise routine. Instead of walking, bike for the same amount of time. You will change your milage and increase the calories burned. Anyways 193 is probaly too light for your height, you might want to check with your doctor on that. He may have some tips on how to loose that extra weight.

I highly suggest running and not just walking. Try some HIIT (run hard for 30 seconds, then do a slow run for 90, continue for 20 minutes. When this gets easy, switch it to 60/60, the 90/30).
Be sure to weight lift as well, and a good diet is key.

I'd play sports rather than just go running.
That's only personal, though, because I'm much move motivated when there's a goal, rather than just running for the sake of it.
The fastest way to lose weight is running. No I dont mean a light jog. Sprint as fast as you can for as long as you can. Rest for a minute and then run some more.

Actually they have found recently that the quickest way to lose weigh tis a mix of cardio running or aerobics and weight lifting. Gain muscle lose fat.
Maybe you have hit a plateau, something often done when after 2-6 months the excersise is not changed or something becomes too routine. Your body adjusts to what you are doing and no longer sees it as 'a workout.'
Try mixing it up a little or adding new things to your routine. Preferably weight lifting. Trust me.
