Go to the hairdressers and ask for a layered haircut.

Properly layering your hair should be left to a trained professional, as there are large chances of irreversible error that can occur when performing a haircut by your own hands.

I'd reccomend you go to a professional stylist at a salon. For a proper layering and styling, it shouldn't cost more than $55.

Hey-

I can help!!

Here is some tips-

1) Decide what type of layers you want!! Long layers, Meduim layers, or Short layers.

2) I would get some cute side swept bangs to make the look more complete!

3)Also see if you can get some low and high lights!!

Hope this helps some!!

My friend and I put layers in my other friend's hair one day at recess.

It actually looked pretty good. =P

Go to the hairdresser. It'll cost maybe 20$ but it's worth it.

Lmao, my hair is like layer central. Are you planning on cutting it yourself?
I er, I just kind of take pieces of hair and hack away at it, it usually turns out okay...

Or you can do it this way..
1.) Wash your hair
2.) Make sure you DRY your hair and [if you do] straighten it so that you know what it will look like when you cut it and so that you don't cut off too much, like if you hair was wet. [That sucks. I've done that before.]
3.) Take your index finger, and your middle finger and place the amount of hair inbetween those fingers
4.) Fold you hair so it goes upwards, and cut the hair at a side-wards angle.

Now if you're looking for a more "choppy" look, than do the same steps 1. - 3.
But in the last step, go up a little higher / cut hair in random places, and make sure you cut upwards with your scissors.

Meep. I don't know how accurate that is, or if it'll look good. But, hair is hair. :]

Im with you, I always cut my hair myself, i layer it, thinned it out, you name it my hair as had it done. I love cutting my hair, and other peoples.
