My family loves manual transmission so I'll be forced to go to driving test with a manual. So what are your thoughts on manuals?

I wouldnt want to drive an automatic, it would just get boring.

I drove a manual for a year before my last car got totalled, that was back when I was a speed demon and wanted to haul ass everywhere. They really suck when you're in a traffic jams...

Now I have an automatic and have to say it's nice not having to shift at all...

Yeh, in traffic jams, they are a real killer. I you have to slowly let you r feet off the brake+ clutch and stuff.

My first vehicle was a manual...it was FUN !!!!!!!!
driving is so much funner w/ a manual
but i think i'd still want an automatic for my main means of transportation

Yeah my car is standard, but most of the other ones I drive are auto so I get a good mix.

Do you really 'drive' an automatic? Or do you just point it where you'd like to go?

Nothing beats a manual, even in heavy traffic, automatics have a tendency to go up a gear when you don't want them to.

^^ Really that's never even once happened to me when I've been driving any of our automatic cars, and I've never heard anyone say that before.

Stick whaaat

Manuals have a lot of advantages over an automatic.

Manuals are about 5-10% more fuel efficient in general.

My Avenger has an automatic transmission. I have driven a manual car and although it is pretty fun (you can do some cool shit) I think I would stick with the auto.

If it is your only choice, it's still cool, I guess. A car is a car.

Hey Naseem.

Don't forget the engine wear and excess fuel consumption.

Lol.....you're a trip.

Keep on doing it.....see if you don't rip it straight the fuck out. I didn't say anything about wearing it down.

But with all your driving experience.....I shouldn't say anything.

Stay shootin'.

Lol.....you don't know nothing about my rap, you wannabe textcee. I've got more respect by number of states than you do number of people as far as that's concerned.

Peace out, homie.

Manual cars get better gas, you have to replace your clutch every 3 months if you cant drive manual for ****... and yeah, automatics are for old people... and most females! And as for sport shift? Thats for queefs that wish they knew how to drive manual.
