Prologue

It has been said that the creation of the universe was done by the hands of one spiritual being. Actually the creation of the universe was an accident, left overs from a devistating war. The war was fought between six elements. The four well-known elements, Fire, Water, Wind and Earth, as well as the two supreme elements, Dark and Light.
Dark had coaxed Fire and Earth to fight along side it, in its dispute with Light. Fire and Earth agreed, signing away their honor, and becoming the darker of the four elements. Fire becoming the wild, revengeful element, inticing many angers and loathes deep in a person's heart. Earth became the emotionless, stoic element, non-motivated to do anything for the good of people.
Water and Wind decided to help Light out, and went against their all-time rivals. Water became the bringer of life, and changer in a person's path. Wind slowly transformed into the care-free spirit, messenger of upcoming opsticals. Joining Light in the fight against Dark, they slowly transformed into the kinder, more protective elements.
The war between the six elements went on for decades, until they disappeared into nothingness, leaving behind the aftermath of their devistating war, planets and stars formed out of the remains. The mixture of Earth, Fire and Water caused planets to form, Light's remains formed the bright balls called stars, Wind's remains twisted and turned, forming smaller galaxies, Dark forming the pitch black void of nothingness in the frontier of outer space.
The gods, angry of how their elements destroyed themselves into nothing but free spirits, created one more supreme element. This element would take the place of Light or Dark, if one was ever destroyed. Shadow was created as an emotionless element, an element without a conscience, an element that keeps the balance of the universe in check.
The gods formed Shadow into a spirit and sent it forth into a deep sleep, to awaken when the time for conflict began to rise, and the other elements was given life in a human form.
