You can't compare an unmodified turbo charged supra to an unmodified natrually aspirated V8. V8's get off the ground way quicker. turbo lag.

actually they're not that popular.. i see mustangs and fbodys ALL the time. i rarely see a twin turbo import around town.

where do you live? i take it you live in the us, cuz where i live i see souped up cars all the time. Skyliners, lancers, wrx, and supras mainly.

wont get one though for a while....but as time goes by, the chances of me getting a 3000 GT that is still kinda fresh are slim...they discontinued it, and the only ones out there are used...as of right now miles are being put on them :hmph:

lol.. well it's a haven for Japanese car lovers, but I wouldn't mind seeing more turbo and blown v8's going around here as opposed to all these wrx's and skylines, that are just everywhere you look. If my mate turbo charged his V8 and ran 13psi of boost i think he would be going alot quicker then just 13's, which is what wrxs and skylines can only manage. Mines a 1991 Holden commy, side skirts, front end spoilers, standard v6 with flow system and chip as only modification. That runs quarter mile in high 14s. Considering it is non turbo and weighs a shitload more, i think that can be said about those cars. V8s are clearly the best engines you can get power to weight wise. (exception might be the ferraris v12's but then again they do quarter mile in 12's anyway) V8s all the way!
