It's good. Takes a long while to pick up though. i'd say it was worth seeing, but one of those films you could only see once.

Yeah, it does take a long time to actually go anywhere. I found the plot most dissapointing and annoyingly predictable once Ivy's dad fessed up a little. Shame, definately could have been a better ending thrown on it.

HOWEVER - Saying that, I didn't think that the other towns would be quite so different. TRYING here not to give it away to those who haven't seen it.

I found that The Village reminded me of a really long... Ah shit, what's the show called? It's all paranormal and what not?

Anyways, yeah, it reminded me of a very long episode of that show. I still liked it though. Kind of predictable, but it differs from most movies out these days...

I like the fact that it was an all around movie. It was suspensful/scary and it had funny/ sad parts.
It was stupid to send a blind girl go to look for a town, but in the end you understand. She can't tell others what she didn't see... If you get what i am saying. I loved the part where the security card just stares at her, and how he steals medical stuff for her, with the dude right there watching him.

Sorry if i sort of ruined it for you...

That's what I was thinking, bleh. But yeah, just to reiterate, the movie seemed like a really long episode of The Outer Limits...

The ending just sort-of ruined it for me.

The movie was stupid, the concept wasn't anything amazing, and in the very end, absolutely nothing had been resolved. At all. Anywhere.

Save your money.

To be honest i thought it was crap all the reviews and adverts make it look really really scary but its not!!!!!!!!! I mean Signs and Sixth Sense is 100 times better than The village! Save ya money your not missing out lol:)
The story is ok but they shouldnt make it as if its going to be the "sacriest movie of the year", it was really disapointing!
