hmm...well all I can tell you is learn a lesson from this, and check compatibility for a game before buying/borrowing/downloading it.

Duncan, I cannot run my moms "Family Feud" on XP.. I used to be able to run it, but after I formated and installed all the new service packs I cannot do it any more..

Maybe your machine is to up to date?

Some games won't run if your account isn't marked as an admin account.. Is yours?

If you are going to install a different Windows version, install Windows 98SE.

Umm, this is just a guess, but try to...

Right-click on the desktop.
Go to properties.
Go to settings.
Change the "Color Quality" to 32 bit.
Click apply.
Click OK.
Try it.

Don't think you can in XP

Try going to display settings by right clicking on the desktop and then clicking on properties... Click on the settings tab. You can set the resolution here also. There is a drop down menu on the right, mine only has 16 and 32 bit color mode. See if you can select a 256 color mode.

It should work after that.

i dont have the 256 thingy, just the 16 and 32. so i cant play the game huh? :(

Guess not, XP is a major PIA when it comes to old software. Some of the games I used to able to run for my mom won't run on here after I've installed everything.
