I dont think research into alternative fuels will really begin while the oil companies are still making shit loads of money.

hybrids. there is research that is ongoing for an alternative to fossil fuel.

one- solar powered cars? expensive. the reason why solar power is not more popular today is because it is expensive.

two- carbon dioxide? how would that work?

alternatives have to be practical. we all don't have seven digit paying salaries.

Petrol (Gas) would explode if you put a lighter near it too :rolleyes:

...lets not forget alternative bio-diesels like ethanol 1 and hemp derived diesel the only problem is people(oil companies)dont want to change.
