What continent makes the best cars, and why?

Ahh, I'm torn. I think N. America made the best ones a while back... but now it is Europe. So I dont know...

Hmm...

American cars are only big in America! The cars you build are simply not practical over here!

So I say its between Europe and Asia.

haha american cars aren't as good as they used to be... asia has jap crap, which is good for modern every day cars and stuff, but I think europe's got the classics, but I voted for europe.

Yeah, I've had bad expericences with them so far lol, 2 hondas, 1 blew up, other one was just plain shit and don't get me started on neons...
The nissan we've got now is alright though, but I still refer to some of them as jap crap.

Neons are crap. But they are pretty fast for stock 4-bangers.

That's because they've got nothing in them. For some reason they remind me of those little plastic toy cars.

A stock base Neon (non SRT-4) is faster than a stock base Civic. I can tell you that much.

Build quality in American cars (at least the ones they try to sell over here) is shite, so who cares how fast it is if its going to fall apart around you?

Japanese cars are the best, but other Asian cars are rather poor, same can be said for Europe. American cars are just rubbish in my opinion. Even Hyundai has better quality cars now.

In Australia, American made cars sell rather poorly also.

American cars are really not that un-reliable. They used to be pretty reliable back in the day, but then they got bad around the 80's-90's. During this time, japanese cars had their rise as being reliable and popular. but now, American cars are catching up with the japanese makers. And personally, i think american cars look and perform better. thats just my opinion

Only good car manufactures from the USA are: Saleen, Lexus and Ford. Only reason I say Ford, because they own: Land Rover and Aston Martin, cant rememebr what other car manufacturers!

But I voted Europe.

I dont understand how you cannot vote for Europe when you look at the, lets say 13 out of the top 15 best (and thats not talking about beeing the cheapest, it goes for luxury, performance, style, reputation, beeing unique etc) are from Europe.
ALL the BIG bangers in the world are from Europe. And everybody who can afford such a car, will by 92% chance get one (Study from Car and Driver in January 2005)



Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrai, Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz, Mini Cooper, Porsche, Volkswagen, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Bughatti, just to name a few

There is no other car maker in the world that is close to what those cars are up there....and dont try to argue, it wont get you anywhere. Its like saying: When i walk through the rain without any cover, i dont get wet.


And i find it funny that people say: "Oh i dont know which one to vote for, N.America made great cares 30 years ago..hmm...i dont know..."
