I didn't even watch the sequels!

However, the original is a classic (and everyone should see it!). Fuck the remake.

fuck the money...i wish i had never gone to see that movie. i had to force myself to take showers for the next two weeks because i was scared that someone would run in with a chainsaw and drag me to a meat hook.

Scariest movie I've ever seen. I am now deathly afraid of Texas.

didnt happen in Texas. Wisconsin (sp) actually.Pluse its VERY LOSELY based on the Killings of Ed Gein. Bufflo Bill from Silence Of The Lambs is more correctly to what he would do to his victims. He did live in a house like one on TCM.....If you want to read about Ed Gein go here

I was VERY disapointed with the remake. Not that it was the worst horror movie or anything, its just that the original was great. This didn't really measure up in my opinion

i saw it a couple days ago... it was sorta scary.... enough so that me and my friend Melissa had her brother walk back to her room with us to make sure there wasn't any one in there..... it wouldn't have been too bad if their grandpa didn't keep scaring us and pointing his laser light around.... and melissa's bro kept mentioning how it was a true story and that they still haven't caught the chainsaw maniac.... i haven't seen the first one though, so i can't compare.

The original was excellent, a wonderful horror film, the remake I thought had a good try at remaking it. Enjoyed it, but didn't touch the original.

I also enjoyed all the sequels except ext Generation, just terrible.
