I don’t know how you miss your brilliance.
Every word you speak is so poetic.
So sporadically, yet delicately placed.
Each and every one a puzzle piece.
I try to piece them together sometimes.
But it is always to no avail.
You elude me.

Just stop being so wonderful, already.
Or at least realize the perfection which you entail.
You’re so graceful with it all.
Accepting their adorations as if it’s nothing.
I wish I were more like you.
Does green work for me?
I wear it too often to notice a difference.

I realize it is lacking in many aspects. I just kind of jotted this down in honor of my friend a few minutes ago. She's been having a tough week and whatnt.
