Too many tears are shed
Too many hearts have bled
Too few comforts are spoke
Too many promises broke
Too many countries at war
Too many people too poor
To many fights it’s not right
We should be loving, livin life

It seems like everyday I can’t find time to get away
Comparing triumphs to trials, threes more trials along the way
So many mornings I just don’t want to get up
I try to find reasons, but they don’t add up to enough
But I get in the shower and I look in the mirror
I spray it with Windex and pray things will be clearer
But that never works on this world of vanity
No matter how bright my colors are they can’t save humanity

Too many mothers that cry
Too many innocent die
Too many scars in our chest
Too many lies on our breast
Too many bad attitudes
Too many families with feuds
Too many fights their not right
We should be loving, livin life
