Right now,
my life feels like
one of those pathetic
and most often overplayed
music videos.
I continuously match my movements
and make,
my all too often wrong,
decisions
to the tune of somebody else’s
Song.

Meh. It's short and pretty yuck. But, I needed to write. Comments? Criticism?

Decent comparison there, between music videos and a life that is beginning to feel choreographed and the such.

It is just too obvious. That is the trap I see most often with symbolism, both in my own and in other people's works. It is best to let the comparison be subtle. Going a tad too far on the mysterious side works better in my opinion than spelling it out too much.
