I saw it earlier today...it was good, I still think the first one was the best though. The only thing that bothered me was that I couldn't figure out why the missle crews always waited until they were in firing position to load the tubes...? It also left room for the series to continue.
Yeah, I went to a sort of Movie Marathon last night, except it wasnt much of a Marathon, only 2 movies, but they were Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions so it was okay.
I thought the movie was really good, worth making the time to go see it.
I loved the bit where Agent Smith got punched in the face, and they did that whole slow motion thing with that, and his face was all wierd looking because of the impact and it was doing that cool little slow motion thing, so it made it better.
heh.
Ahhh, well yeah, I liked it.
The thought of the possibility of a new movie occured to me too, and some people thought the same, and some just thought otherwise, because the directors or someone said so, but yeah, its hard to say.

They won't have another movie. Neo's dead, Trinity's dead, the machines said they won't kill the humans and if anyone wants to get out of the matrix they will let them. The humans are going to rebuild what's left of the freaking place and live their lives.
It's over, the war is over and any other movie or sequel or prequel will just be milking the franchise and will not be worth it or even be good.

I thought it was great. I didn't like the 2nd one very much, there was too much talking that I didn't understand. But I thought this one was really good. I loved the fight at the end, it was so cool :)

I saw it opening day. I went w/ a big group and right after school, 2 of them headed to the theater and waited 4 hours so we could be the first ones in the theater. It was awesome.
I think the movie kicked ass. Not as good as the first one, but better than the second one. That's usually how trilogies are heh. I really hope they don't make another one, I think it will ruin the effect that The Matrix movies have had. The movie made me cry when SPOILER Trinity died SPOILER but other than that, I watched it in awe and amazement. It's a really good movie, and I recommend seeing it.

SPOILERS AHOY
So...how long can you carry on a conversation for with three metal spikes piercing your body, exactly? "So, Neo, I know I'm gonna die and all, but you wanna make out for a little bit first?" Stupid.
I think I had a little bit of a seizure during the Neo vs. Bane fight on the Logos. Damn, cool it with the strobes.
Why did the guards in the club fight on the ceiling? Hand to hand combat, that'd give you an advantage, I suppose, but what's the point of doing it during a gunfight? "Damn! He's above me! How am I supposed to shoot bullets upwards?"
I have to give credit to the battle in the dock in Zion, though. That was badass, mostly due to the robots (APUs? Something like that).
It had its moments, but overall, a pretty big disappointment. Better than Reloaded, but it still falls into the "unneccesary sequel" category.

Nah, i don't think it was. Nothing can beat the feeling you got when you saw the Matrix for the first time. The third one was very good though. They are equally enjoyable.

Bah, the movie was awesome. It wasn't amazing or anything, but it held my attention. When Trinity was having her little death shpeal someone in the theater went "Die Already". That's pretty funny. I think they could have elaborated on Smith in the real world and Neos newfound powers. The movie for some reason seemed heavility edited. Either way, it was awesome

I liked it. I didn't love it, but it was decent. The ending made me go "awwww," but....eh. Something was missing. I think as each movie came out, there was less and less to understand. It took me nearly 4 times to get everything in the first one, maybe twice in the second one, but this one...I know exactly what happened. The battle scenes were cool, but the storyline could've been better.

I honestly don't see why people like the series so much. A friend of mine had the following disscusion with some people.
People: "Man the matrix movie was the best movie in the world ever!"
Friend: "I liked the movie but I didn't think it was the greatest."
People: "What! Man you just don't understand that they were in the Matrix."
Friend: "No....I got the premise of the movie, I just didn't think it was that inovative."
People: "Dude, you're not getting it....they were IN the matrix man."
And so on.
I mean I thought the first movie was awesome, but then the second one comes around. I didn't like Neo anymore because....nothing could fvcking touch him. He stood toe-to-toe with almost 100 Agents and got out. He's too much of a contrived, invincible hero and isn't exciting because he can't be hurt. I liked Morpheus more because he is a normal guy and almost won against an agent on top of the semi. That is impressive and the man earns points. Neo is too much of a "look at me i can take on the world and fly and go through walls and revive the dead and I'm bigger than Jesus!" It's stupid.

I saw Revolutions today. It was awesome. I don't care what anyone else says about The Matrix, I loved the first one, second one, and third one.

ditto. if it aint your cup o tea, oh well...but i love tthe mix of philosophy, DBZ-esque combat, relations to popular mythology, and overall "holy-crap-look-at-THAT" factor.
the onyl bad thing about the movie is that i cant see keanu reeves succeeding this well ever again, and thats disappointing, because ive been a fan since bill and ted.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. After being The One, where do you go after that? But he's a great actor, I'm sure he'll find a role that fits him just as well as Neo.
I saw it this past weekend ... it blew me away totally! Okay some slwo parts but how could anyone not love it? I love that a lot of the key people are girls! Girls do rule!

I liked the movie, but "The One" seemed too cliche' to me. I mean the man was f*cking invincible. "Oh look at me I can fly, blow up machines with my mind, ressurect people from the dead, fight hundreds of Agents at the same time, etc etc." There was just no stopping the man at all, so he wasn't interesting to watch.
I liked the movie anyways, mostly because of the Battle at the docks with the APUs. That was pretty sweet. But the first one was still better than the 2nd and 3rd put together.

But dylan, Neo got owned by the trainman! and also owned by Smith.
There is always space for sequels ALWAYS. People can always just come alive and the ending gave a maybe!

First of all, it was not the best of the three. After i thought about it, it's the worst. A very unworthy ending to a fantastic franchise. It would've been much better if Neo woke up at his computer at the end, like Alice in Wonderland.

Yea, I agree with that. I had only seen half of the first one before seeing the third one, and no one had to explain anything to me haha. I went home and watched the others just to make sure I understood, but I was pretty close. I've watched the first one a few times now to make sure I know the basics. I own the first and second one now, because after seeing Revolutions, I really got into the Matrix trilogy. I think they are all very good, and alot of people say they don't like Reloaded, and though I agree that it isn't the best sequel, it's still pretty damn good. But like Neon said, the plots get less and less confusing as the trilogy goes on.

I never thought of that. That would be pretty cool...but it'd be kinda stupid as well. He fights off all the 'bad' guys and saves the whole world more or less, to find out it's a dream? It would be cool to incorporate him being back in the Matrix as regular Neo, but having the powers, and everything that happened was in his mind, but did happen? (kinda like when they get plugged into the Matrix) I don't know if any of that makes sense, but it would have been neat to have him be Super Neo and Regular Neo at the same time, at the end.

Also, just a little bit of suprise for anyone who didn't know this: A friend of mine pointed out that most of the vehicles in the Matrix Reloaded had lisence plates that related to Biblical verses. Smith's lisence plate showed a biblical verse that when a friend looked it up read as something like "and lo I bring a smith unto you and he shall bring fire and death" or something like that. Trinity's car(or bike?) had one, the Twins had one, and I think there was one more but I'm not sure.
Anyone who has the DVD should check that out.

Hey,
personally I think that waking up at his computer idea would be pretty freaking awesome! LOL.
I hated the second movie with a passion..so slow and didn't move along at all. It was sort of a waste of the 9 dollars I paid to see the early premiere. The first one beats out all....what scene in the other two can beat the scene in teh lobby in the first one? Neo was so hot there...*Drools*Sorry *wipes away drool.*
Revolutions was good. I liked it. I saw it 3 times. I myself am kind of sad to see it over...I really liked the Matrix series. Granted the sequels weren't that good..but there is always a special place in my heart for those ruddy overused sequels. You know?
Meh, good movie overall. Loved the fight scenes. I used to worship Trinity, she was my idol..but I was glad to see her die! i got sick of all the lovey dovey shit going on. Plus, now that she's gone, I can have Neo for myself! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Besides Naobi was better.
Keanu Reeves is a sexy beast.
